I can't recommend this place enough!!! The restaurant is absolutely delicious and the service is impeccable. My husband actually decided to get married here after eating dinner in the restaurant. The owners are wonderful and the chef has an incredible pallet based on the menus and wine pairings. They truly provide the best most stress free experience when we were planning all the way through the ceremony. Super wonderful and cozy for a date night and perfect for an intimate/ medium size wedding!

This Sunday we had a 70th Birthday brunch for my wife at the Inn. We rented the Garden House for brunch (about 40 folks). The catered selection of entrees was great and reasonably priced given the quality, serving staff was top notch and easy to work with, the space was perfect room for a few musicians and mingling. We worked with Donna, the owner, who accommodated a few special requests for the menu. Our friends have not stopped raving. Whether it's a gathering or just a dinner for a few you cannot go wrong here.

Excellent food and knowledgable staff. The two of us often come here for special occasions. They make it special. We enjoy historic buildings. We recommend the mushroom soup especially.

Be careful when you order the Delmonico . . . the bone is not in the stake. They gave me a ribeye . . . the bone was out and there was a signficiant amount of fat on the stake. They may have done a switch-a-roo . . . also they may have cooked the stake cold (it was tough) instead of room temperature. The service however was impecable! If you know your food, it may be challenging. However, if you want a good, relaxing evening, you can't beat it.

Had a nice celebratory dinner with family. Wine sommelier was very very nice and provided great recommendations. Great ambiance in a historic venue. Enjoyed a well prepared dinner which was expensive but memorable for our family. Will return in the future months for other family meals.

We had a delicious meal, and the service was excellent. We were celebrating our anniversary and felt very spoiled! I had the crab cakes that were creamy and full of crab. My daughter had a lamb shank that was super tender. My husband had flank steak that was also very tender. We will go here to eat again soon!

Wonderful experience. We had a quiet private table as requested. Everything was delicious and the French onion soup was the best I have ever had. The service was excellent, our waitress was incredibly accommodating, and both the manager and chef stopped by our table. Truly fine dining at its best.

Odd situation. Went to Gordon Ramsey on week before. For about same price, had 2 courses and no alcohol at GR. At EFI, had 3 courses, each 1 glass of wine and thought the meal was better.

Everything was great, the decor, the ambiance, the service, the feeling you were not being pressured to finish and leave, and above all the food.

This was my first dinning experience with the restaurant. Lovely historic setting, impeccable service, and wonderful food selection. Our server (Tony) and his assistant (Lincoln) were first class, met every expectation and could not do enough to make the experience memorable. The manager (Hilary), was most personable and customer focused. There were two in my party and our initial food selection did not meet our taste palate, there was no hassle from the staff, we were given an opportunity to reselect and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend this gem.

I had brunch today at Elkridge furnace Inn. I must say two servers, Tony and Lincoln were exceptional. They were attentive, and went above and beyond. They both served with such a pleasant demeanor. Their service made our experience great! In this day & age, it's refreshing. The Inn is lovely, the food was very good. Oh, and the manager, Hilary (?) was involved with experience. He demonstrated care toward the customers and his employees.

The Elkridge Furnace inn is always a treat when we stop in. Service is impeccable and the food always blows us away. The menu changes seasonally, which gives us reasons to come back again and again. While the interior is decorated with a fancy, historic flair, I have never felt anything but welcomed and accommodated by all of the staff - they always go out of their way to make special occasions very special. We love having the Elkridge Furnace Inn in our community and always trust the chef to make an incredible meal!

My wife and I were waited on Jason and his assistant, Tony. They were fantastic, animated, articulate and couldnt be more pleasant and respectful. Chef Dan came out to see how we were doing a couple times, which was also a nice touch. Our food and drinks were excellent. I had the duck breast and my wife had the filet. Both cooked to perfection. We had the crab dip as a starter along with the mushrooms, which were delicious. She had the French Onion soup and I had the Cream of Baltimore, which was one of the best soups Ive ever had. We finished off the meal with chocolate mousse and maple bourbon crème brulee, which were excellent. The only things I could possibly say that were lacking were no complimentary bread before the meal and no sorbet to cleanse our pallets before the main course. This is the only fine dining restaurant Ive been to that did not provide either. Not a big deal but it does provide a nice touch. We will definitely be going back when we are in Baltimore. Fantastic experience.
