Had a great time even though it was smaller than I expected. Luckily we had a great server by the name of “waterstation” that was very pleasant and helpful. She assisted us in our selection of beers and food. The Guiness Beef Stew and Roasted Oysters were fantastic. My only suggestion is for the table tops to be resurfaced since they looked a tad deteriorated from alot of traffic.
Overall, my visit to the Guinness Taproom was just okay — more of a “check it off the list” experience than anything special. One thing diners should know: they require a physical ID, which was not communicated ahead of time. My colleague had an electronic ID (accepted at airports, no less), but it wasn't accepted here, which immediately created an issue. I wished we lived closer! I love this place it has such a great vibe in addition to the beer and food! The outdoor area is incredible. Definitely spend the day here eating, drinking the variety of experimental beers and classic Guinness, listening to live music, and spending time with friends/family!
