“the owner needs to fire the cook just ordered a crab cake and when i took the onions off the crabcake is black shouldn't even have went out the door looking like this then tried to cover it up with tons of onions you can taste the burnt taste. “Had found the place by accident roaming around the night before and ordered a chicken sandwich that was AWESOME! So decided on it for the pizza, highly recommend, the following night while roaming again. Started speaking with a older woman behind the bar who is part owner and she was so delightful and informativ of the area of Little Italy and told me of some of the history associated with the area. “Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

“We, had lunch at this location on Nov 10th. The service was very poor and the order came out wrong. The waiter never offered to refill our drinks. We, ended up sending food back and had taken off the bill. I, asked for a manager and the waiter only came back. This was a VERY poor experience. The waiter sucked, They may need new management.“

“One of the two vegetarian restaurants in Howard County and I am a very frequent visitor. I like the Punjabi Thali, the parathas, noodles with Manchurian (I believe it is their specialty, never ever found this in an Indian restaurant with a Chinese section). Since the restaurant is located inside the deli store of a gas station, it might not be family friendly and hence we order takeout but there are 6-7 tables for a hostel/dorm like dine in option. No doubting of the quality of food. It's very delicious, very comforting and the recipes made upto specifications. Must try for vegetarians. If you are in luck, the chef packs a little extra quantity for Thalis.“

“I was at a birthday catered by Benny’s. The meatballs were outstanding, tender, moist, excellent flavor and the sauce was excellent also! Deep flavors, not strong, with a good texture, without that strong acid, garlicky tomato flavor! Baked pasta was great also! It was good for my tummy also, no reflux, YUMMY 🤗. “I usually don’t eat Indian food, too spicy, but the ambassador makes the food just perfect for my taste. Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. Today I drove 28 miles from home just to enjoy dinner at this great restaurant. Thank you for the good food and good service.“

“For a brunch spot, it’s very quaint and nice inside, the food (I had the Elvis pancakes) were good, as well as the drinks. Only two drawbacks: It can get pricey (they charge $5 extra just for 3 slices of bacon if your meal doesn’t come with it, which is wild), and the diner’s demographics aren’t really diverse. Otherwise, it’s a nice spot with the biggest perk being all day brunch.“

“Best place for vegetarian food on campus and super customizable. A meal swipe gets you a wrap or salad with a base (lettuce or spinach) 4 toppings, a protein (chicken or tofu), and a dressing. My go-to is a wrap with spinach as the base, feta, olives, cucumbers, and chickpeas as the toppings, Beyond sausage (you have to pay extra for this) as the protein, and raspberry vinaigrette as the dressing.

I have done so many things there: spent time with friends, took visitors (friends and family) to taste the beer, attended a community event, participated in the local running group's weekly meetup, watched the Ravens and the O's fail, etc. And the people running it and working there are fantastic!“

I asked many questions since it was my first distillery tour, and my tour guide Kevin answered all the questions more than adequately. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of whiskey making and history of Maryland. If you like American whiskies, especially rye, you should check out this place. Highly recommended!“
