“I love this restaurant, it’s great, staff is nice, and the environment is kept nice and clean. I highly recommend going for the Big Box, as it serves any burger thee want in it, 2-piece fried chicken, any side dish of thy choice, and lastly comes with a drink. Food will always be fresh, nice, and warm. Chicken is crispy and hot. Their spicy chicken sandwich is great along with the sauce that it has in it is great, has a splendid kick to it. In essence, I highly recommend this restaurant, easy 5-stars.“

“The goat curry and oxtail Mac and cheese are both amazing! Great flavor for both. Curry has a good spice to it. And the meats for both fall right off the bone! Will be back for sure :) only thing is Mac and cheese itself was a bit oily

“Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

“One of the two vegetarian restaurants in Howard County and I am a very frequent visitor. I like the Punjabi Thali, the parathas, noodles with Manchurian (I believe it is their specialty, never ever found this in an Indian restaurant with a Chinese section). Since the restaurant is located inside the deli store of a gas station, it might not be family friendly and hence we order takeout but there are 6-7 tables for a hostel/dorm like dine in option. No doubting of the quality of food. It's very delicious, very comforting and the recipes made upto specifications. Must try for vegetarians. If you are in luck, the chef packs a little extra quantity for Thalis.“

“Best place for vegetarian food on campus and super customizable. A meal swipe gets you a wrap or salad with a base (lettuce or spinach) 4 toppings, a protein (chicken or tofu), and a dressing. My go-to is a wrap with spinach as the base, feta, olives, cucumbers, and chickpeas as the toppings, Beyond sausage (you have to pay extra for this) as the protein, and raspberry vinaigrette as the dressing.

“I usually don’t eat Indian food, too spicy, but the ambassador makes the food just perfect for my taste. Special occasions when the mood is right, we go to the ambassador for that special taste of Indian cuisine. I’ve been going to the ambassador for the last 20 years. Today I drove 28 miles from home just to enjoy dinner at this great restaurant. Thank you for the good food and good service.“

“For a brunch spot, it’s very quaint and nice inside, the food (I had the Elvis pancakes) were good, as well as the drinks. Only two drawbacks: It can get pricey (they charge $5 extra just for 3 slices of bacon if your meal doesn’t come with it, which is wild), and the diner’s demographics aren’t really diverse. Otherwise, it’s a nice spot with the biggest perk being all day brunch.“

Don’t bet on the Ravens, don’t bet on the weather, but you can bet every single time that your sandwich from Jake’s will not pull apart and fall apart because the pit beef is tough. This is the food of life.

I have done so many things there: spent time with friends, took visitors (friends and family) to taste the beer, attended a community event, participated in the local running group's weekly meetup, watched the Ravens and the O's fail, etc. And the people running it and working there are fantastic!“

I asked many questions since it was my first distillery tour, and my tour guide Kevin answered all the questions more than adequately. “My first time at Miss Shirley's with my daughter's for a Valentine's Day Breakfast and we LOVED it! When we were seated, I noticed that my daughter was given a book to read while there, in addition the kids menu, which I think was a very good idea. Vivian (I think) was our waitress and she was very friend;y and helpful. I loved the way the children's food was plated, in a bento box style. My oldest daughter had the red velvet french toast, which she enjoyed, my youngest daughter got the Belgian waffles, and I got eggs, turkey sausage, hash browns, and a biscuit. Everything was delicious! The mimosa was good and I enjoyed the coffee. Definitely will be back.“
