“Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

We, ended up sending food back and had taken off the bill. I, asked for a manager and the waiter only came back. This was a VERY poor experience. The waiter sucked, They may need new management.“

“This was the Shrimp and crab cake benedict over cheesy grits. The shrimp were plump, the crab cakes were packed with crab meat. Everything about this dish was 😘🤌🏾. Also, they serve fresh squeezed OJ which I appreciate.

This place gets busy. Although my party didn't have to wait to be seated around 11 am, as we were leaving around Noon, we noticed quite a few people waiting to be seated.“

“Best place for vegetarian food on campus and super customizable. A meal swipe gets you a wrap or salad with a base (lettuce or spinach) 4 toppings, a protein (chicken or tofu), and a dressing. My go-to is a wrap with spinach as the base, feta, olives, cucumbers, and chickpeas as the toppings, Beyond sausage (you have to pay extra for this) as the protein, and raspberry vinaigrette as the dressing.

I asked many questions since it was my first distillery tour, and my tour guide Kevin answered all the questions more than adequately. “I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ampersea! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“

“Pats is our go-to never lets us down dinner option. We've been eating there for 6 years now since we moved to the area and I've not ever ordered something I didn't like. Not to mention that they give huge portions which I think is commendable seeing as so many of the restaurants right now are making you pay more for less due to shrinkflation.

Like I said we love everything but their pasta is amazing my husbands favorite is the chicken parmesan and mine is a tie between the spaghetti and meatballs or the chicken burrito bowl. Oh and if you like delicious things go ahead and tack on one of those desserts lol.“

“My only other experience with afghani food was prepared by local international students from Afghanistan. It was to die for.
I will be honest, I was hesitant to try this place because my expectations were really high given my past experience with the cuisine.
It did NOT disappoint. Don’t skip a beat coming to this place. The food is exceptional, from the rice, to the naan, to the meat. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. As a bonus, our two year old devoured the food as well.
We ordered the Wednesday special which was chicken jalfarazi and the chicken and lamb kabob.“

“Definitely a 10/10 spot went there around 7:30 for dinner !! Food was awesome and in good prices I got a crab cake for 18$ with a 2 dollar add on for fries and coleslaw. Recommend getting there early just because wait times are crazy. Service was awesome I was there 5/21 and sitting on the first floor outside the server was amazing but sadly I can’t remember the young girls name she was tall and skinny. “Basic steakhouse. Nice dinners at a moderate price. They cook the steak as you ask, and no deficiencies here, and plenty of healthy choices on the menu. Great specials if you are sticking to your budget and the bar at this one is a good place to watch a game. It's not the Palm but then it isn't trying to be and it's more budget friendly. The staff are excellent.“

“I see a lot of these are older reviews and I don’t know if they have since gotten a new chef in the last 3 years but the food is phenomenal and I’m very picky! I look for things to not like and this is my second time here and can’t think of one bad thing. Service is good, but the food is literally outstanding. The mashed potatoes had great flavor as did the veggies - my steak was a tad overdone but it was so tasty it didn’t matter. Crab cake was filled with delicious lump crab! And it had flavor too — I also tried the Korean short ribs on special and they were just SO GOOD! The drinks are also delicious! And I stare at the dessert case every time I come in but I’m always too full to order anything. I guarantee they’re also to die for! Great place!!“
