This review is mainly about our server, Rachel. My parents and I had breakfast at Eggspectations on Saturday (10/3/26). Rachel was a breath of fresh air! She’s friendly, kind, sweet and professional. She’s a seasoned server who knows her “stuff”. Our meals were tasty and on point - no issues. We never had to ask for napkins, condiments or refills. Very good food all around. Flavors were very great and value is fair. The fried chicken was the best bite of the table, for sure. Tried the seasonal menu hash, which was good, but I wouldn’t get it again. The S’mores French toast was excellent. Shrimp ‘n grits was more soupy than a traditional rice-based dish.

The food here is amazing. The prices are a bit high, but so is everything else these days. It seems like as of recent, a lot of new hires have been brought in. I feel like the overall inside could be better arranged with more booth-like tables, than tables. The regular tables have barely any room on them, especially if you have kids with you. Expect long wait times after 10am.

Eggspectation, a restaurant in Gambrills, MD, has received mixed reviews. The turkey bacon was excellent, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a fairly loud setting with many tables in the dining area, but it offers free parking. Recent visits included a great birthday breakfast celebration, where the food was worth the wait despite the busy atmosphere. Customers praised the friendly servers, and the manager Tom is always accommodating for those who eat and work there often. Favorite dishes such as breakfast tacos, French toast, shrimp and crab cake benedict over cheesy grits, and fresh squeezed OJ highlight the menu.
