“This was my second visit to Love, Pomelo, and somehow it was even better than the first.

We ordered the Carbonara Verde and the Anchovy Toast, and both were incredible. The carbonara was rich and comforting without feeling too heavy, and the anchovy toast was the perfect balance of salty, creamy, and crisp. Every bite felt thoughtful and intentional.

What made this visit unforgettable, though, had nothing to do with the food.

I ended up having one of the most genuine conversations with the manager, Min We started talking as strangers, but I left feeling like I had been seen by someone who truly cared. In a world where we often move from place to place without interacting with the people around us, that conversation reminded me how meaningful simple human connection can be.

That, to me, is the definition of hospitality. It’s not just serving great food. It’s making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for.

Love, Pomelo has become one of my favorite spots in Baltimore, not only because of the food, but because of the people behind it. I’ll definitely be back.“

A few days ago I was unsure of how to use the app so instead I called in an order. The worker named Will helped me out over the phone and careful explained recommendations/popular items without ever making me free rushed despite my call being about 10 minutes. “After we heard Carmelo’s was open again, we ran over for a hot slice out of the oven and it did not disappoint! Just as I remembered, not too thin, but perfectly crisp crust on the bottom, great tangy sauce, and perfect amount of cheese. The penne arabiatta was a hit as well as the garlic knots. “the owner needs to fire the cook just ordered a crab cake and when i took the onions off the crabcake is black shouldn't even have went out the door looking like this then tried to cover it up with tons of onions you can taste the burnt taste. “Service excellent, food is always great. I live for the dine in free bread sticks with marinara sauce. My friend had cup uf chicken noodle soup, yummy!! We both had salad. He had stuffed salmon, pasta, spinach and mashed potatoes, all delicious. I had stuffed shrimp which came with pasta marinara. Of course mostly me/we had to go boxes. Went to the little girls room came back and he ordered apple pie alamode with 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream. It was a BIG ole slice of pie for 2 and he requested 3 scoops. Lawd I was done but helped him. They do auto 18% gratuity on dine in ,but Bae- be worked for coins and COMP our dessert. We tipped her outside the standard. Lawd Jesus praying she doesn't get pulled up for this post. If she does, we not coming back 🤣“
