“Going to many places, you can really see the attention to detail to the point that even the Ketchup is spiced up. The food quality is excellent and is a mix of restaurant quality while still being 'bar food'. Overall very recommended. Oh yeah, and I guess the beer is good too.

“We love going to the open gate brewery! They're super accommodating, especially because one of our people in our group of eight couldn't sit at a table, so they accommodated us to a lower table, which was amazing! The beer is always great and the food is delicious. I would say the only negative about this is how loud it is in there. Other than that this place is so great.“

“Best brewery in Baltimore! They’ve generously hosted multiple events for my chorus and are wonderful! The beers are delicious. Kim and Michael are the friendliest bartenders in town. They have sound for live music and food trucks in the parking lot. It’s the perfect place to meet up and have a beer. 10/10 recommend!“

“We held our wedding reception here and a blast was had by all. The space is nice and intimate inside and out, and the patio is decorated beautifully so not much was needed by us in terms of decoration. The pizza during the event was on point and everyone loved the grab and go buffet style. All of my craft beer drinking friends loved every beer they had and even the older heads who have been drinking the same domestic light beer for 40 years and never try anything new were able to find something they like. The staff was AMAZING. Everything from the initial communications and coordination of the event to helping my mom store and carry her many desserts. They were ever so nice and did a good job dealing with my ever so thirsty friends and family. I recommend booking them for an event, but also stopping in for a pizza and a beer on a nice afternoon. A well ran joint! We have received nothing but glowing reviews how much everyone enjoyed themselves.“
“We got married at Guilford on 11/11/23. Everything from our first visit/tour to the wedding day was an amazing, easy experience. What made us choose Guilford was the location and the price - we wanted a city wedding without paying 20k just to rent the place. Guilford’s food is so amazing and we just absolutely loved the space. Nicole and Genesis were both great to work with. Nicole has many years of wedding experience she brings to Guilford. I also paid for a day-of coordinator from the venue which I recommend! They were flexible with my vendors and seriously took care of practically everything. We got so many compliments on the venue and would get married here again in a heart beat! Thank you Guilford!! “One of my favorite breweries in Baltimore. I'm here regularly for a craft group that they generously allow us to host. Very loud, not the best lighting, but plenty of seating and delicious beverages. Almost always a top-notch food truck outside and you can bring your dinner in.“
“The beer is phenomenal... it would be even better if I could have it on tap! After putting in a pre-order nearly a month in advance, two days after it was supposed to be delivered, my rep told me they didn’t make enough so we didn’t get ours. Those pre-orders seem to be working out well.“
“The bartenders are the nicest. They say hello when you walk in and make you feel so comfortable when ordering. Sometimes niche breweries can feel a little high strung or awkward, but not Waverly. Highly recommend if you are looking for tasty beer and great service. The environment is welcoming and calm. Second time at Waverly and will def come back. Love it here!“

“You need to make time to go here. If you appreciate a good microbrew and even better food (with vegan options) make the trek. I am not a fan at all of IPAs but they make some good ones and recently offered a hefe and marzen that I would sit and drink all day if i could. Super friendly staff, large group friendly (they even put up sound attenuation panels on the ceiling which i appreciate) and have outside seating as well.“

“My family and our friends were visiting Union Brewing during the massive storm on Saturday 8/3 that caused terrible flooding and power outages- Even though they lost power the staff of Union went ABOVE & BEYOND making food accessible (amazing nachos, per usual), handing out popsicles for little ones and continued pouring up the best pints in Baltimore. We really enjoyed our time and we look forward to our next visit!“

“Jailbreak Brewery has the best people, beer, and food you could ask for in a local spot! They have a wide range of regular beers along with multiple beers in a seasonal rotation that are all delicious. Their menu has several staples along with other delicious plates in rotation as well.
I have been a regular at Jailbreak for years and have never been disappointed in my time there. I've set up work happy hours here, farewell parties, birthday parties (several of my own), and I have become friendly with the staff who are always so kind and professional. I have introduced friends and family to Jailbreak that the staff now also recognize and my friends and family absolutely love it there. My friends joke with me and assume if we're going to hang out, we're going to Jailbreak (and they're usually not wrong).
I can't believe I haven't left a review before - a big thank you to the amazing staff that keep this place going!

“Excellent place for HH. They have Toast tab so everyone can be separate. They have long tables so a large group. They have games like cornhole and pool. The drinks are QUICK. This is the regular HH spot for my job. It’s just so easy. Also lots of parking.“

“Brewer’s Art brews the best beer in Baltimore, full stop. Each beer is fantastic, and they actually have good variety even in a relatively small menu ranging from dark to light beers. The food is excellent and the vibes of the different rooms are all great for spending lots of time. Resurrection and Birdhouse are excellent, as is the burger.“

“Very good beer flavors beer on tab. They serve and sell hand crafted beers with unique flavors. Very chill indoor bar with a large room that serves as a party/event area. When I went they had a food vendor there and the food was top notch.
Pricing was affordable and on point with the high quality beers. Staff was attractive and kind as well as knowledgeable“
