“Love the hallway leading into this place with all the artwork painted all over the walls, very different. The beer is very good and even a couple of mixed drinks on tap which is nice. The logo is one of the best I've seen for a brewery, very original. My only complaint is when they have a live band it gets too loud to even talk to the person next to you. The owner is extremely nice and loves to interact with the customers. First time I was in here he was posting a picture of a drink special on social media and asked for my opinion on the best pic which he used. Nice little merch section, took home a pint glass the last time I was in for the collection at home.“
“My Wife and i had tried some of the Aldus beers before and fell in love with them. We decided to take a trip to the brewery all the way from Philadelphia and i cannot say enough how much it was worth the trip! The beer selection was incredible, we came for the Pretzel Wheat beer but got to try so many others! The staff was so knowledgeable and really made the experience so much fun. However the star of the experience was the owner Jason! When we told him that we traveled to the brewery he gave us the full Aldus treatment! He told us interesting facts about the beers and the Aldus brand, gave some history behind the beers, and you could tell he is very passionate about his beers! We had an incredible time, and we are super excited for Aldus to open its new Brew pub location! 5 stars all around!“
“This is the first place we ate after moving here and we went back two more weekends in a row. Haven't had anything mediocre yet, it was all great. We especially love the pizza (their sauce is fantastic) and the pretzel rolls are great too.“
“What a great place to unwind. The food is great, the beer and Frozen Crush's are really good. How about the entertainment! There is no place like this in the area. One more thing, the staff and servers are very friendly and make you feel at home.“
“We’ve eaten here 3 times. The food is delicious and plentiful. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The tiramisu is homemade and one of the best I’ve had. Not sure why more people don’t frequent this place. The tortellini ala crema is outstanding. Highly recommend.“
“Stopped by again for a weekday lunch - this time we had a Short Rib Grilled Cheese & an Old English Melt .......aaannnd of course the signature basket of chips with Balsamic Vinaigrette drizzle & sprinkled Parm. Could go there for nothing but the chips! But I must say both sandwiches were AWEsome! We made reservations since it was the Monday of Valentine's week but, although busy, the place wasn't slammed. Our server was attentive & everything came out in a timely fashion - love the ambience! Lot of dark wood & copper which lends to the historical feel or the venue (Inn goes back to 1763) - always enjoy stopping in! (still) Highly recommended!“
“Stopped by on way to Virginia. Ordered Tuna nachos, CSB Burger, and Kids cheese pizza . The appetizer was excellent and tuna fresh. My burger was more than a handful. The grandson pizza was just right. Prices reasonable and worth a stop. Detour off Rt 15 and you will not be sorry for lunch. Don’t forget the history behind this tavern since 1763 continually run.Kid-friendliness: No issues with a 3 yr old“
“The Altland House was the perfect choice for a hotel for my bridal party to stay during the weekend of my wedding. Our rooms were great. My husband and I stayed in room 30 and it was HUGE. Everyone was kind and considerate in answering my million questions leading up to the weekend. They even helped us host a brunch after our wedding in one of their private event spaces. I highly recommend eating and/or staying the night here!“
“Good craft beer in a cool space. I got the Bloodbath IPA on Nitro, a creamy beer with blood orange notes. My partner had the Beach Trick Sour, that tasted of melon and cucumber. Friendly staff and nice variety of beer styles are on offer here.“
