“This was our first time here, and we were thoroughly impressed.We were greeted at the door by a smell of cleaning product which makes you feel good about how well a place is kept up. The interior was trendy and well lit. The place was very clean and organized.The server was tremendous. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to choosing our entrees.The food was the show stopper. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and well crafted on the plate. There is a great variety of dishes to chose from and even something for vegetarians.Overall great experience!!”

“During Lent Season, we frequent Big Mike's Crabhouse on a Friday, typically late afternoon. We try to beat the crowd, as this restaurant is not that big, but the seafood is absolutely delicious! Service is always excellent!!!! Big Mike's is a very relaxed atmosphere! They are a BYOB, so you can bring your favorite adult beverages if you choose to do so!!! If you choose to have an entree, but do not wish to have the sides, they will adjust the price! I love their cod fish (2 pieces), but don't always want the French fries, etc., they will serve you just the fish and adjust your bill accordingly. The pound of shrimp is always cooked to perfection, we have our shrimp served with melted butter and cocktail sauce, so delicious!!! If you're in Hanover and love seafood, stop by!!!!”

“Awesome sushi spot! Full Moon roll was amazing. Service was so good! My drink never went empty! That’s good. Fast service, friendly staff, amazing food. I can’t give this place anything but 5 stars! Hidden gem for sure!”

“Had good prices. Crabs were seasoned and cooked well. Decided to try the fried chicken. Was some of the best fried chicken ive had in a very long time. Cream of crab soup was also fantastic. Really solid crab shack”

“I go for the Veal Francaise. Hubby goes for the Prime Rib Ravioli. Joe was the chef at another establishment where we first tasted his food. When we learned he opened up his own place in Hanover, we followed the food! His foccacia is to die for!!! We always get boxes to take home left overs because the portions are so generous!”

“Was on vacation in the area. Stopped in one night and our group loved everything…the food the beer, the atmosphere. The staff was great as well. So we returned the next night!”

“This is the first place we ate after moving here and we went back two more weekends in a row. Haven't had anything mediocre yet, it was all great. We especially love the pizza (their sauce is fantastic) and the pretzel rolls are great too.”

“I ordered filet mignon hibachi. Meat was a little more cooked than I like and I couldn’t really tell that it was filet mignon as opposed to a different cut. Tasted good though so when I can tell the difference I will give the food a 5”

Unsweetened tea was good, too!Birthday hoopla looked fun and got anyone in vicinity to join in the well wishes!Parking: We were there Friday night mid dinner rush, so perhaps parking would be easier at lunch or after 8 pm.Waited 15 to 20 minutes in the car for text to bring us in to be seated. Experience was worth the wait and parking hassle.”

“Our food was delicious! I ate everything, and I got the Ultimate feast and added an extra lobster tail and grilled scallops. I always choose the Hanover location as the York location isn't as nice. My server sucked this time, but maybe he was having an off day. It took about 20 minutes for him to appear so I could ask for the bill. He forgot my appetizer. Oh, well. It's still my son's favorite place.Kid-friendliness: This is my son's favorite restaurant. He is a seafood lover. I remember loving it, too.”

“Wow!!! Just amazing! We came here for brunch on a sunday and was blown away by the food and the very friendly staff. I got the Belgium waffles and as an appetizer the grilled cheese with the soup. Definitely will be back!”

“I'm in love with the staff here. I don't think I've ever seen better service.The food was excellent, the Mango wheat beer was smooth, and I felt like the price was reasonable. Get the Buffalo Cauliflower. I had my doubts, but I almost ordered a second helping it was so good.Pretty strong chance I might become a regular here. “We stopped here on a whim with our daughter and niece. Great cocktail and beer menu, with signature martinis and interesting choices on tap. Nice variety of options on food menu, including plenty of non-seafood options. Maryland and cream of crab soups both very good. Salads also nice and fresh (and we loved the super chunky blue cheese dressing). Salmon Monte Carlo was a very large filet cooked perfectly and covered with a tasty sauce. Shrimp scampi was plentiful with nicely cooked shrimp. Crab legs were well steamed. Stuffed mushrooms were good, but not great. Bread and biscuits were yummy. Service was excellent and we thought prices were appropriate and not as expensive as we've seen at other restaurants. We are from out of town and only have Red Lobster back home, so this was a great (and far superior) alternative! Good restaurant all around.
