“We recently discovered Oak, just a half mile from our home, and it’s truly a hidden gem in an area with limited dining options. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. Our bartender, Zach, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and offered fantastic recommendations—including the Steak and Eggs for brunch, which exceeded all expectations. The steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the eggs—a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be ordering again. My husband enjoyed the BLT Eggs Benedict, which was equally impressive. The thick-cut bacon, perfectly poached eggs, and flavorful hollandaise made for an unforgettable dish. The service throughout our visit was outstanding, and when asked for recommendations, Zach confidently told us that everything on the menu is great—and from what we tasted, we absolutely believe it. If we could give Oak a 10 out of 10, we would. For anyone in the area or just passing through, we highly recommend stopping by. Oak is a standout dining experience, and we’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“Had dinner there today for the first time since they moved from Nanticoke! The food was even more spectacular than I remembered. I savored the chicken francaise … best I ever had. The hubs enjoyed one of the specials of the day, lasagne and an enormous meatball. It was fantastic. Both meals were such large portions we took some home. The new location is quaint with limited seating but is a cozy atmosphere. Will definitely return! Perhaps the best tasting food in the valley!”

The server was less than desirable. No such thing as refills or prebussing tables. It was average at best. Prices are high compared to similar places. If I didn’t have a gift certificate I wouldn’t have chosen this place.”

However, I’m new to this town and have eaten at 2 other asian restaurants in this town and tbh I was extremely disappointed. So I decided to try one more Asian restaurant, the Aki steakhouse. I was super blown away from the quality and taste of my meal. it’s hands down the best food I’ve had in years!! I mean YEARS!! I got the chicken teriyaki it was super moist and tender enough to break into pieces w/ just a fork, it came with the sweetest sugar snap peas and asparagus cooked to complete perfection( the tastiest vegetables I’ve ever had in my life) w/ white rice and to my shock it was a huge portion, enough for at least 2 adults. The price of my meal was 21$ but EXTREMELY worth it, and actually that’s only 9 dollars more than a combo meal from McDonald’s (that’s crazy to think about) and like I said it’s huge portions so you can easily split it with someone. YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT, I PROMISE YOU’LL BE HOOKED.”

“our Awesome boss Miss Rita treated the teachers at Sunshine daycare to lunch from you yesterday!We called in the order she picked it up and brought it back to us we had alot of different dishes I had Mushroom Swiss ground steak burger and FF it was so good I lived the seal on the toasted bun pretty but still soft.The ff were so good not to greasy not to salty just perfect. Plus I tired some of her big crab dip pretzel that was to die for.I look forward to coming to the restaurant for myself.”

“What a night! I finally took Cooper for his 1st Lobster. After watching lots of “Coyote Peterson” uTube videos for a couple months, he’d been asking me to take him to eat one. Today was the day. Thank you to Hanovers Red Lobster & their General Manager Michael, he gave us the ultimate educational experience & even sat down with us & showed Cooper how to eat it. Mike got the meat out while Cooper ate it 😂😂. Cooper loved every bite of it & dipped it in his “hot warm butter”. He suggested his 8 year old friend Mia, try a “no thank you bite” ( that’s my rule ! 😂) And, she liked it! It was so funny! Had a great time. Cooper had a blast & enjoyed having Mia join him too!! “Just had GrillRilla for the first time and I’m blown away. I had the Farm Animal smash burger and let me tell you, it was like a magical breakfast, lunch, and dinner all in one! The king sauce is some sort of wizard spell that has all the best parts of the flavor without the overwhelming heat taste of the whisky. It’s the perfect blend of flavor that seals the deal on an epic burger. Simple, yet tastes like it should cost big money. I have only written a handful of reviews because it has to be big… and this grub, is HUGE! Mega Huge! I sampled my daughter’s “Surf and Turf Bowl”, and it left me angry that I didn’t order it myself. I wanted more than one bite, and I can fully understand her hesitance to share. Crab wings = bangin! Even the rice was slammin. I’m in awe. Shock and Awe. I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu. You have a believer here… I look forward to a long relationship of fully flavored food, and a few extra Lb’s. Worth every single ounce!”

Wanted a Corona to go with meal, but she explained that they did not have a liquor license, but it is a BYOB ((we'll know for next time).Watched other tables get served with some really wonderful dishes. Ours was delivered to table in about 15 minutes. Great plating of food. Taste was excellent. Took home our leftovers. Highly recommend this little gem in Hanover PA”

It was soo yummy that we had to go twice while we were in town! We will surely be returning on our next trip North! The family that owns this place is wonderful. The coffee here is fantastic, and the drink choices are amazing. My husband also loves it so much, this is the only coffee shop we want to come to now. I appreciate that they don’t charge extra for things like different milks and for decaf coffee. The cinnamon bun coffee is our absolute favorite. And also- the staff here is very friendly. That’s a huge plus- I have had some disappointing encounters at other coffee shops in the area- but not Ghouls and Grinds- they are fantastic and if you have not tried them I 1000000% urge you to!! You will not be disappointed!”

“When my husband and I think of Perkins, we think of family. Everyone there has been great! From welcoming you as soon as you come in the door, to saying see ya next time when you leave. They are very polite and respectful.

Our meals have been good but there is always room for improvement. The food can be a little bland at times. There was a time our food came out cold, bacon was not crispy and my toast was burnt but our waitress, Kaylee, took care of it right away. She spoke with her manager Wade and he made everything right. Kaylee is very attentive, well mannered and a great server.

All the managers are awesome! We have gone to the Gettysburg restaurant but the service there does not match up to the service we get here at the Hanover restaurant.

“Went here after it being recommended. I’m used to going to Oola bowls and wanted to try something more local. We arrived 15 minutes before closing. Felt bad but the customer service was still good. Didn’t feel rushed and we were able to finish our açaí bowls inside as we came on a motorcycle so couldn’t take them Togo. We were there about 5 minutes after closing. The staff was very nice and the bowls were delicious. Only thing I’d change is better quality honey. Still overall would recommend. Can’t wait to go back and try some food and drink options!”

Your custom cake and cupcakes were a show-stopper. ***I ordered a Highland Cow 6” cake (peanut butter mousse with chocolate icing) and sixty plus highland cow cupcakes (yellow, chocolate and pumpkin flavors) to supplement. The butter cream frosting had the perfect combination of flavor, smooth texture with just the right amount of sweet. The cake and cupcakes were fresh and moist (even after I had them in the refrigerator for an extended amount of time). The Cake Bar captured the perfect amount of frosting to cake ratio. Each treat was and simply scrumptious. The cake and cupcakes were delicately decorated and exploding with “WOW”. Your skill, creativity and artistic talent are remarkable. Each cupcake and the cake were a work of art of their own. From my initial inquiry, working through a concept and to final delivery, I was given a really personalized and professional service. I couldn’t be more impressed with the finished cake and cupcakes. Everyone loved them. The Cake bar is by far, comparable to none. My kids beg me to go here regularly and other than the expense I have difficulty saying no, because it's so good! I have become a huge fan. I especially love the mission statement and little sayings on the containers. It's so cute and tasty.

I love the broccoli and chicken, but the broccoli has to be soft not hard. It's only hard when not cooked long enough..aka..rushing to go the buffet. But do love the food!”
