“Have visited here often. Always liked the food. Service was excellent! Had soup & side salad. Salad was not fresh. Lots of brown lettuce & very small amt. Cream of seafood soup was good. Could have used some more flavor! Server mentioned how slow they had been. Perhaps customers are not happy & going elsewhere? Hope this restaurant returns to excellent food like when they first opened. Would hate to see this nice restaurant be forced to close over reduced customer interest in the future????“
“Our server Grant G was absolutely amazing and gave me the best experience I've ever had a breakfast place! He was probably the only one here and was quick, polite, and attentive. This was at 3:40am where normally workers are awful but he was amazing, highly recommended him specifically!“
“Only been there for breakfast: typical diner-style food, but it came hot and was very good, and comes with free-flowing hot coffee. Sausage links are good. Smoked sausage is also a breakfast item and it's delicious. Staff is awesome! Friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is homey: early morning regulars are very nice people. Between the staff, regulars, and the food it makes for an enjoyable way to start the day. I highly recommend this diner for individuals who are comfortable sitting at the counter or at a small table. I do not recommend this diner for large families (of more than 4) or for large groups unless prior arrangements or you call before you come. as there are a limited number of tables and the diner can become very crowded. “This is a small but cute little diner. A hidden gem off main street in McSherrystown. The food is great, service is good. The only downside is that the parking is limited and with their limited hours, the place is jam packed. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Stop by and check it out!“

“First time here and we will definitely be back!! This place was suggested by a lovely lady at the Yesteryear Antique Center. We are from Maryland and know where THE Best crabcakes are from so we had to try Dutch Country's Crab Cake since the menu says --You have never had any like theirs!
