East Berlin Diner is a great little town diner. The food is super delicious and great. Breakfast is always good, and there is lots to eat. Generous portions are served. The chipbeef gravy with toast and home fries was the best in a long time, just like mama use to make. The meat lovers omelette was enjoyed every last bite. Good diner food. Coffee was not included with breakfast. Service is very good and servers are friendly. The waitress is very friendly and on top of things. The waitress was very nice. It is a really nice place to meet someone for a conversation and a decent meal. Pleasant atmosphere. Nothing fancy, very plain. Much larger inside than it looks from the outside. Could choose from tables or classic bar stools. Plenty of space. Reasonably priced too. A very casual place where they make you feel welcome. A place where when you go early for breakfast or later for lunch you can just imagine the old timers getting together to solve the world's problems. Do not let the negative comments deter you from eating here, it's a small hometown diner not pretentious. If you are looking for good food without the trappings of a chain restaurant then this is the place for you. Would definitely recommend. Will return.
