“We went last Friday to celebrate a friends birthday. We just went in for drinks and appetizers so we went downstairs to the pub. I was surprised it was not very busy. The server came to the table in a reasonable time we ordered 2 beers and 2 martinis. It took a long time to get our drinks. The complimentary chips with balsamic were very good. I was disappointed in the appetizer selection. There were 3 soups, Brussels sprouts and crab dip. I was hoping for a few more options as our friends don’t like Brussels and I didn’t want soup to snack on. So we had crab dip and a lite fair item. Everything was very good but as soon as the server found out we were not planning on having dinner she essentially ghosted us. We still tipped her very well hoping it will boost her Evening and remind her not to brush off a table just because they are not having an entree. I look forward to going back. Everything we ate and drank were very good. I am eager To try more items. It was a nice place for celebrating with friends”

“We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening in September. We saw on Facebook that a musician we like was performing. Facebook has this listed as Center Square Brewing but the sign outside still says underside bar.

We sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and then dinner. I had the cashew crusted chicken and it was good. It came with two pieces of chicken and I took one home as leftovers. The steak meal was very good as well.

The bartender was friendly and attentive. There weren’t too many people down there. The atmosphere felt like a basement - I mean, it’s a little dark because it’s down stairs and there is no windows and everything is brown or dark colors. It was casual and relaxed. Prices were comparable to most other local places we go.

Parking was a free paved lot adjacent to the building.”

“Food was excellent. The restaurant was sold recently and is now Abbottstown Diner. Decor and menu hasn't changed much as of August 14th. Hopefully quality will remain high with good prices.”

“This little hidden gem is mine and my husband's favorite place to have our date nights. Any special occasion, this is where we go. I love how fresh and seasonal the food is. I always love trying something new. From the crafty cocktails, the specials, and the rotating seasonal menu, there has never been anything we haven't liked. Everything is scratch-made and you can taste the love and passion from the chefs back in the kitchen. The service is exceptional, everyone is super friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy and it's a very beautiful restaurant. I can't say enough wonderful things about, Oak. 1,000 out of 10!”

“Clean with nice atmosphere. Greeted by Ana. Menu was full of interesting dishes. We both chose Pollo Flautas. Wanted a Corona to go with meal, but she explained that they did not have a liquor license, but it is a BYOB ((we'll know for next time).Watched other tables get served with some really wonderful dishes. Ours was delivered to table in about 15 minutes. Great plating of food. Taste was excellent. Took home our leftovers. Highly recommend this little gem in Hanover PA”

I'm so bad with names, but every person who has helped me has been pleasant, and handle the coffee bar beautifully even when its busy. Small details are paid attention to. there was a small drip down the side of my cup as she was pouring and she replaced the cup with a fresh one. idk if she she even knew i saw her make that small consideration, she was still at the back making the drinks. Extremely friendly with his greetings and exits with everybody as well as every coworker in the place. If I didn’t live 1500 miles away this would most definitely be my favorite eatery.
