We went last Friday to celebrate a friends birthday. We just went in for drinks and appetizers so we went downstairs to the pub. I was surprised it was not very busy.
The server came to the table in a reasonable time we ordered 2 beers and 2 martinis. It took a long time to get our drinks. The complimentary chips with balsamic were very good. Simply the best! Highly recommended!!
The Altland House is my go to place when I'm visiting in the area. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the food is great, and the prices are quite reasonable. Lexie was the hostess during my most recent stay. She is a delightful young lady who seems to enjoy going out of her way to accommodate the Inn's guests. Truly a memorable experience.

Standout dishes include the Brussel sprout appetizer, perfectly cooked salmon, and the Roman pizza, which many find very good. The Eggplant Parmesan and baked onion soup remain highly recommended. The bread plate served as an exceptional starter, featuring garlic butter spread, roasted garlic cloves, olive oil, balsamic drizzle, Parmesan, and olive oil as a dip. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, described as cozy, with attentive and friendly servers that ensure a pleasant visit. The food is good, reasonably priced, and served efficiently, with desserts that are tasty and nicely presented. It is a great spot to revisit, especially for those seeking a satisfying meal in a friendly setting, although a few guests have experienced minor reservation issues.
