“I go for the Veal Francaise. Hubby goes for the Prime Rib Ravioli. Joe was the chef at another establishment where we first tasted his food. When we learned he opened up his own place in Hanover, we followed the food! His foccacia is to die for!!! We always get boxes to take home left overs because the portions are so generous!“
“Visited here yesterday and I fell in love with the whole place. The whole vibe is amazing. The food is reasonably priced and is really really good. Very friendly staff. Such a cute store. Definitely recommend visiting here. (I al currently eating my leftovers from yesterday lol. super yummy!!)“
“Today was my first visit. My server was very friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant. I thought the cream of crab soup tasted great, perfect texture. My only complaint is I asked if the meatballs were homemade or bought frozen. I was told homemade. They were definitely a factory made meatball. I believe it was the language barrier that caused the confusion.I would come back again.“
“Stopped in on the advice of a fellow traveler on a plane ride from Chicago. The place is clean and the atmosphere at lunch was quite busy. The pizza was delicious!I had meat lovers, the red sauce was really good. My nephew had mild chicken bbq Delicious! My niece had shrimp and sweet peppers and her bus had white pizza! The service was great and attentive You can tell that they use the freshest ingredients and take pride in their work! I would definitely go back and try other menu items!“
“I’ve gone here hundreds of time and never disappoints. The last time I was there I ordered tort Alfredo and it had mounds of cheese but was lacking the Alfredo sauce. I’m not sure how you exactly forget the sauce but not the cheese that’s melted on top. Only issue I’ve ever had tho, just happened to be a disappointing one. And I unfortunately ordered take out so there was nothing I could do“
“So fast, so polite, and exactly the best pizza shops you can imagine. Mozzarella sticks, Cheesesteak subs, all you imagine the best would be, they make it just that way. Young staff is overly polite and high energy and fast! I recommend big tips because they are worth it! That's up to you, but you won't be disappointed. They've NEVER made a mistake on our family of 5s many, many orders! AAA+++Parking: Easy peasy!“
“We’ve gotten food from Giovanni’s on Blooming Grove Road more times than I can remember. Our favorite is their simple cheese Sicilian which we sometimes add bacon to. They absolutely cover the pizza in bacon without going overboard. Their traditional round pizza is delicious as well as their stromboli, cheesesteak or cheeseburger subs, their onion rings motz sticks and cheese fries are amazing too! We’ve never once been disappointed with our meals. And I personally believe they have the best pizza sauce around. We always get extra to dip our onions rings and pizza crust into! The wait time is always consistent unless of course it’s a busier time of day. Staff is always very friendly over the phone and in person.Parking: There is plenty of parking and outside seating for the warmer months.“
“I've enjoyed their lunch specials many times. I've had their pizza & their hot subs. All of it has been very tasty. Good food, fresh bread, & reasonable prices. My daughter just moved back to town & was with me this time. Now, she is also a fan.“
“Not sure about the food because all I order is pizza. They make the best New York Pizza I've had in Central PA. Highly recommend for pizza. I cannot speak for their other entrees because I've never tried them. I did get a steak sub for a friend who said it was excellent.“
“Best pizza place in Hanover in terms of the basics: bread, cheese, pepperoni, seasoning. I don't get a lot of meat so I can't comment on the other toppings. Tomatoe basil is delicious too. Mozzarella sticks, wraps, all the subs from cheesesteak to turkey sub are delicious. Homemade bread for subs too. It is a little more expensive than other places in town, but you'll see why when you eat the food. Definitely an occasional go to for me.“
“First time ever having Sals! Pizza was flavorful. Got a large Sicilian. Extremely doughy in the middle, opened up and could tell immediately cheese and Pepperonis weren't done. It's a large area, so I'm not surprised the middle was undercooked, but it was enough to where I had to throw it my oven and try and get that bottom toasted. Amazing flavor. I Will try and order again.“
“*update* we finally gave them a second chance today at lunch time. This was our first time here in the new building. It’s very nice inside. We got take out, it was done quickly and it was hot and delicious. So I updated it to a 5 star from a 4 star. They seem to really have stepped it up since entering their new building. The parking is Also nice. We will definitely be back ?Eating in the food is amazing, we’ve had many of their subs, their pizza tons of times, the mozzarella sticks, French fries, chicken tenders. All very good. Their make your own pizza is also great! I just would not recommend getting take out. Every time we get take out the food is very, very, very cold when we get it (at least in the evenings).“
“This is a very nice place with amazing service. Our waiter, Craig, was attentive, polite, and friendly. The owner, Paula, greeted us and told us a little about this family run business. I had the chicken skewers, and they were delicious. My SIL had pizza and loved it. When we went in, there was a sign saying they were short-handed and to please be patient. I didn't think the wait for service or food was bad at all, so they were surely doing a good job of keeping up on things. I would recommend checking them out!“
