“We went last Friday to celebrate a friends birthday. We just went in for drinks and appetizers so we went downstairs to the pub. I was surprised it was not very busy. The server came to the table in a reasonable time we ordered 2 beers and 2 martinis. It took a long time to get our drinks. The complimentary chips with balsamic were very good. I was disappointed in the appetizer selection. There were 3 soups, Brussels sprouts and crab dip. I was hoping for a few more options as our friends don’t like Brussels and I didn’t want soup to snack on. So we had crab dip and a lite fair item. Everything was very good but as soon as the server found out we were not planning on having dinner she essentially ghosted us. We still tipped her very well hoping it will boost her Evening and remind her not to brush off a table just because they are not having an entree. I look forward to going back. Everything we ate and drank were very good. I am eager To try more items. It was a nice place for celebrating with friends“

“We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening in September. We saw on Facebook that a musician we like was performing. Facebook has this listed as Center Square Brewing but the sign outside still says underside bar.

We sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and then dinner. I had the cashew crusted chicken and it was good. It came with two pieces of chicken and I took one home as leftovers. The steak meal was very good as well.

The bartender was friendly and attentive. There weren’t too many people down there. The atmosphere felt like a basement - I mean, it’s a little dark because it’s down stairs and there is no windows and everything is brown or dark colors. It was casual and relaxed. Prices were comparable to most other local places we go.

Parking was a free paved lot adjacent to the building.“

“You only see smiling relaxed faces here at this placd! What's not to love! Sensational beers! My favorite Blood Bath is a blood orange beer. Yum! And fun artwork everywhere! Music on the weekends! See you there!?“

“After my fiance and I had tried their beer at the American legion, I instantly looked this place up because the beer was so good and a week later we came here. I really love the set up of the place. And the staff were super nice and very informative too. If you come here try their pretzel beer, laser beer, dolphin and anchor ale and steam beer. We bought a case each of the laser beer and the pretzel beer and will DEFINITELY be back!!! I am so happy I found this place by accident. We are about 15 miles away from here but it's worth every mile!“
