“Had a great time even though it was smaller than I expected. Luckily we had a great server by the name of “waterstation” that was very pleasant and helpful. She assisted us in our selection of beers and food. The Guiness Beef Stew and Roasted Oysters were fantastic. My only suggestion is for the table tops to be resurfaced since they looked a tad deteriorated from alot of traffic.“

“I came here on a double date and had been wanting to try it for a while. The Cinder and Sumac cocktail was unique and fresh. We shared the shishito peppers and potatoes for apps, which were both delicious. My partner and I ordered the miso mushroom bucatini and the pasta alla vodka to share. Both were very fresh and the quality of the pasta was very good, but I do feel they could have benefitted from a touch more salt (I don’t usually like my food super salty either). Most pastas give you the option to order a small or large size; we ordered the large and the portions were enormous — no complaints!— so just know that you can probably stick to the small if you’re sharing multiple pastas between two people. I didn’t catch our server’s name but she was incredibly kind, funny, and attentive. I will definitely be back!“

Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

“I was at a birthday catered by Benny’s. The meatballs were outstanding, tender, moist, excellent flavor and the sauce was excellent also! Deep flavors, not strong, with a good texture, without that strong acid, garlicky tomato flavor! Baked pasta was great also! It was good for my tummy also, no reflux, YUMMY 🤗. “Adorable and quirky cafe that is 100% worth all the hype, the long waits, and the hard-to-snag reservations. I visited Golden West Cafe on a Sunday afternoon with a moderately large group (7 people). We were originally hoping for a brunch reservation but could only snag a 3 PM slot -- a testament to how incredibly popular they are -- although we ended up being ready at 2 PM and called ahead to ask if they could seat us earlier. They, very graciously, were able to make space for us to come a tad earlier.

The food was absolutely incredible -- it was some combination of American comfort and Mexican / Latin American, with classic Mexican items like huevos ranchos, fish tacos, and enchiladas right next to traditional American brunch selections like chicken and waffles, hot cakes, and so forth. Their menu is also remarkably vegetarian / vegan-friendly, and it features their own house-made vegan chicken!

We decided to split a few items, including the zucchini brie hot cakes, fish tacos, and vegan hot honey chicken and waffles. All three were outstanding, but my favorite had to be the zucchini brie hot cakes. The cakes were remarkably soft and fluffy, and I loved the bit of sweetness from the zucchini (and maple syrup, of course), and the extra hit of rich creaminess and savoriness from the brie. It was the perfect sweet and savory combo, and it was easily one of the biggest surprises of the meal.

The rest of the items were also delicious, although not quite as wowing.The fish tacos were well-fried and flavorful, and I was quite impressed by how crispy and thin their accompanying fries were. I really enjoyed the flavor of the hot honey vegan chicken and waffles, but I was, admittedly, a little bit thrown off by the texture of both. It's very possible that the waffle had just gotten a bit soggy because I ate this dish last and it wasn't quite at its peak freshness. Either way, I really enjoyed my time here, and it's 100% worth I try. I can't wait to make my way back to Hampden to sample the rest of their menu!“

“We travel a lot for youth sports and breakfast is our favorite meal. We usually end up going to a different place each morning, but this cafe was delicious that we came right back. The iced coffees were tasty and the breakfast food was solid. They have classics, but then have fun specials too. We did a day of each and both were superb. The service was solid too and I’d highly recommend the place.“

This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

We were visiting Baltimore for an event and we're exploring some restaurants. For breakfast we chose Miss Shirleys and I can confidently say this is the best food I've had in a while, especially in breakfast category.
We had their chicken breast tenders and sweet waffles, fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, brisket, and eggs with sausage. Food was amazing !!!!! I highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy delicious food and great atmosphere!!!“

“I think I died and went to heaven lol. I was at a neighborhood outdoor festival and ordered from their food truck there. I expected it to be half the amount of food I received and delightfully surprised at the amount of food I got for $11! I can see why they have 100% positive ratings. Food was great, cheese appetizer with their fruity sauce are incredibly delicious , fish entry was a pleasant surprise , very interesting spice bland and great mango slaw, could probably eat a whole bowl that !

Interior is very conscious , whole place is welcoming , really liked that tables are not cramped together and you have plenty of room . Great plants and color picks , you don’t feel rushed, staff is knowledgeable and accommodating .

“Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. Going above and beyond, thank you Rusty Scupper staff, thank you so very much. You gave my parents an experience that is above and beyond "like something out of a movie" mom keeps saying!!!!“

“I had some of your gluten free cupcakes at an event last weekend, and they were the best I've ever tasted. Several of the guests ate them "by mistake" and were questioning if they were really gluten free. The host sent me home with some, too. My husband tried one and also questioned if they were really gluten free. Soooo yummy! I had a snickerdoodle one, chocolate with white frosting, yellow with chocolate frosting and who knows what else. Divine, I tell you!“
