“I am remiss in writing this review. I was completely dying for Chinese food last weekend and I came across Cisu. Vegan, Chinese, and close to me -win! Located in Ridgeview Plaza by the Food Lion on 175 this spot is very bright and clean. The staff are so nice and helpful. The menu is great with a mix of vegan "meats", tofu, and vegetables to pick from. I got the Kung Pao Tofu. It was so delicious and flavorful. And there was a ton of it. I ate it for three meals. My picky meat eating husband was really happy with his pineapple fried rice and spring rolls. The prices were great as well. Cisu is definitely going into regular rotation.“
“I was looking to support a dessert spot that is black owned and my client found Apple Core. I went there and got the lemon coconut cake. It had a genuine homemade taste. Not super sweet...just right to satisfy my sweet tooth?And the owner is super sweet. She loves what she does and it shows. I love supporting a good business with great customer service.?“
“I loved going here for lunch. Was greeting with a smile. Buffet looked great! But I opted out for the menu...I had the chicken Tikka and daal makhni w/ onion kulcha. Very flavourful and authentic!I was pleased with the atmosphere and it wasn't crowed nor loud.Plenty of parking:)I'll be back to taste other items plus dessert!“
“Very nice upscale/semi casual place to dine in. The best vegan cheeses I've had in my 9 years of being fully plant-based. The only thing is some of the food was too salty so be sure to mention go light in advance if you have sodium issues (good to avoid much salt in general). Otherwise great food and place. I'm still full!Vegetarian options: Their adult Mac is decadent and wholesome. The potato corn chowder soup was well pureed and palatable along with the corn bread which is not too sweet or salty (made just right!)“
“Our hostess Karen was the best. Seating was slim when we originally arrived and when better seating became available she got us moved right away. Taylor, our server was equally awesome and the food never disappoints. I highly recommend Busboys and Poets!“
“I ordered a delicious panang curry that was served piping hot! I also shared the kanom tuay (coconut pudding) with my friend which was lightly sweet and so good! I highly recommend Manow Thai for anyone looking for comforting and yummy food.Vegetarian options: Panang curry“
“Lovely little spot! Both people working were so kind and all the food we got was amazing. We started with hush puppies that came with a delicious smoked tomato aioli, my husband tried their breakfast bowl that was a giant portion and so fresh, and I had the chicken avocado sandwich and fries which also was wonderful and fresh. We will definitely be back many times in the future and look forward to warm weather to eat on their patio space!“
