“Royal Taj is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, like our 20th Wedding Anniversary last week. It never fails to deliver excellence. Because it was a very special dinner, we decided to try something different. So my wife ordered the Lobster Malabar and I ordered the Grilled Halibut. Both were very good, especially the Halibut which was covered in an outstanding Corn Relish. To top off the evening our excellent server, Joshi, brought us a slice of very tasty cheesecake with a lit candle on top. As usual we cannot rave loud and often enough about Royal Taj and it is all due to the GM Binda, who is very friendly, charismatic and truly sets the tone of excellence at Royal Taj.“

“They have a small parking lot but we ended up ubering this evening. We didn't have a reservation (Friday evening 7:30 pm) and we were able to get a seat right by the door. They were definitely very busy but our server was still attentive and friendly. My friend ordered a flight of wine and I ordered a glass of the Poggio Le Volpe, 'Roma Rosso'. The wine, as always was delicious. My friend ordered the IBWC Fall Burger and I ordered the Grilled Bistro Steak Frites. The Steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We had also ordered side Caesar salads. It was restaurant week and neither of us opted into the the 3 courses for a price option but our server did kindly inform us that she grouped it that way to help us save and include the dessert. We ended up getting the Nutella dessert (I don't recall what it was called). While the presentation wasn't great, it was very good and I would recommend it.

“We gave Asian Palace a try for lunch and had a great experience. The Pick 3 Sushi Lunch Special is not only a great deal but also delicious! I get the Alaskan roll, Spicy Yellowtail, and Veggie Tempura roll with a house salad. All three rolls are so good and the salad dressing is amazing. We have also tried Chicken Satay (the best I have ever had), the Godzilla roll, Spicy Fancy roll and the egg drop soup. All were fantastic. We will be definitely be making this a regular spot!“

“We've been ordering pizza and other food from here for 12 years. It's one of my wife's, kids', and my favorites!

Their pizza is great, with a nice soft crust. It's one of our go-to pizza places, and it's kind of unique, so I like it as part of an attempt to vary the pizza we order. Personally, I most recommend the margarita, but we also get pepperoni, cheese, Hawaiian and others. All fantastic. The prices are good too.

It's also a local, small business with great character.

As a story about great service, about a month ago, I ordered a single pizza for delivery and it was fairly low on cheese. It was late, maybe close to 10:00. I called them back and mentioned the issue. Without any questioning at all, they just said they would make and deliver me a new pizza and told me to keep the old one. It was remarkable service. (Again, I've been ordering from them for more than a decade, and this was the first time I can ever remember the pizza being a little off.) The replacement was hot and cheesy, had delicious basil and tomatoes, and was fantastic as always.“

“Tried Upper Crust for the first time today. It’s now my new go to pizza place. We’ve lived in Elkridge on the east end of HoCo for 25 years and our local joints have just fallen off lately so i went in search of a new place to get good pizza. I love good pizza. This place has great crust, it’s crispy and chewy just like it’s supposed to be. The ratio of sauce and cheese and toppings was just right too. If you’re looking for good pizza in central or eastern HoCo this is the place. It’s right near Howard High. Thank you Upper Crust for being there for me and having great pizza.“

The food is delicious and not pricey, the ambiance is great, and the Peking Duck is amazing.
On top of that, management gives a lot of importance to each and every customer. It really feels like you are received as a guest, and not just as a client.

We were in the area from Boston just for the night and learned of Xenia through our hotels concierge. It was amazing and probably one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was outstanding and prepared beautifully. We had the Spanikopita, Greek salads, shrimp saganaki, and lamb riblets. All very tasty and expertly prepared. What really did it though was the on point service offered by Mary (Maris). Her efficiency, attention to details, thoughtful presentation of the menu, was a 15 out of 10! She is a super star! We were delightfully surprised by the restaurant’s generous hospitality when they sent us a dessert sampler compliments of the house because we were out of state first timers. “Absolutely true to its name. House of India is the place to be if you appreciate authentic Indian cuisine and excellent service. It’s not only having a dinner , it’s having a memorable experience. “It’s always hard to know how much vegan fast food should cost when it’s more readily-available animal based competition is so cheap. I will say that paying north of $10 for what is essentially some variation of a fast food burger stings a little whenever I’m pulling out my wallet. But the quality and variety (I got a patty melt, chili cheese fries, and a fish sandwich last time) makes me feel a little better. “This used to be my favorite. I came in last Friday bought a 32 oz smoothie. I do love the smoothies and chocolate covered almonds. They no longer have styrofoam cups which is a great disappointment. B4 you even get 20 mins away anything is melted in those plastic cups. I even tried to refreeze it like I always do. But it was mostly sweet juice by the time I got home. Which means I wasted my money. I need a cup that works please smoothie king! I still recommend because this bothers me and may not bother others.“

Three of us tried the ham & cheese sliders, a friend with a side of whipped feta cheese dip, another with potato latkes, and mine with a side of onion rings. Delicious. I love when the deep fryer oil is clean and not old! A+ for that. Another had the Custom Chrome Burger with fries. All great! My only beef is the lack of regular sized tables. Most were high tops, which are very hard for disabled older folks to climb into, not to mention there were no backs on the stools, so no support. Not great. I was able to climb the upper level stairs and find a cushioned pub style chair to pull up to the narrowest, mid-height table I have ever seen. But, it worked. My chin was still above the table and the chair was comfortable. Still would be better if handicapped had more access to regular tables and chairs with backs on the main floor. For other non-drinkers, they also had diet soda, iced water, and even Zero Coke. Can't remember if there was unsweetened iced tea though. Overall, it was a good experience.“

“Ice cream is always a hit here!! The seasonal and permanent flavors are all worth trying. My longtime favorite is the Salted caramel, but I've also enjoyed the Maryland mud, ube, and (for my matcha lovers) the hojicha.

“Some of the most amazing and accommodating staff in the Columbia area. The staff here at Uncle Julio’s go above and beyond when it comes to your evening out and family’s needs. I personally highly recommend dining here. Beautiful and quiet patio area for you to sit. Indoor seating is just as authentic as well. All food is made from scratch, fresh daily. Table-side guacamole is an experience you must indulge in especially for you avocado lovers! Not to mention their chocolate piñata that is perfect for any occasions! So interactive and delicious. 10/10! Don’t just take my word for it but go try it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. This establishment was easy to locate, provided free parking, very clean, and had great tv's for sports viewing.

We were seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by Adam.
Adam had a great personality larger than life!!

Each and everything was great, except a double shot ordered at the table. It was smaller than a single shot. We didn't want to make a scene, so we dealt w it. But never again.

The robot's return button is too far away and requires you lean out a bit far. The voice sounds like a very young little girl and grated on my nerves after it said "I'm going back now" for the third time. The service provided by the biologicals bringing drinks, picking up dishes, etc. was not diminished, although not having ingredient placed on the table was sorely missed. Payment is now via a portable card reader at the table, I don't care for having someone stand there and wait for you to choose a tip and sign the receipt. It's unpleasant having someone watch while you feel compelled to rush so you don't take time away from other customers. The food just seemed off that night, my tomato broth and my wife's mushroom broth both seemed off and lacking of the flavor we remember, also just remembered also we were never asked if we wanted more broth. Seems we'd have to ask for that via the tablet in lieu of a server. Broccoli and corn seemed fine, while the fish, shrimp, squid, firm tofu, and lobster balls seemed to be of lesser quality of poorer taste. The app on the tablet used to order has been changed. Several items, mostly refills, lack proper icons. I'm accustomed to using the images to make quick choices and the app seems less convenient now. Once you start ordering the items appear in a pane that opens on the right, taking away from the area used to display options. I prefer having my order being a separate tab. The list of available items is now a single scrolled list, with the buttons on the left being shortcuts.“

The food here was amazing- the service was outstanding and the “first time” dessert delicious! The cheese sauce for the cheese fries tasted very artificial, but we ordered it on the side so we were able to use ketchup for dipping instead. My son reported that the chicken nuggets were also good. The strawberry lemonade was VERY sweet.

“Went with my mom & adult son after shopping. We like the atmosphere and food - it has been a few years since we ate here and it is still good. Fresh salads, flavorful quiche, nice soups & drinks. I wish they still had their bread, butter & jelly readily available, you can still get it, but they just give you a piece or two. I think covid shut that down. Their baked deserts are really good!“
