“Dok Khao Thai Eatery is a culinary odyssey into the heart of Thailand, where every dish is a postcard from paradise, and the service is as warm as the Thai sun. With its trendy vibe and an ornately adorned dining room, Dok Khao sets the stage for an experience that's as visually stunning as it is gastronomically gratifying. Our adventure began with the Crab Rangoon, Crispy Salmon Rolls, and Chicken Satay. Chicken Satay, the ever-charming ambassador of Thai appetizers, is elevated to new heights at Dok Khao. The slow-grilled marinated chicken, served with peanut sauce and cucumber sauce, is so tender and flavorful, it could easily start a diplomatic mission of deliciousness. Crab Rangoon, a delightful twist on the classic, where wonton meets crab meets cream cheese, creating a well-balanced trio of flavor, all served with a sweet & sour sauce that's more like a love potion than a condiment. The Crispy Salmon Rolls, perfectly fried, marrying marinated salmon with rice, seaweed, sesame seed, and flying fish roe, all wrapped up like a gift waiting to be unwrapped. It's a fusion that's as daring as it is delicious. The Lychee Duck Curry is a love affair between roasted duck and spicy coconut red curry, with lychee, cherry tomato, bell pepper, basil, and pineapple adding sweetness and depth to this rich, aromatic embrace. The Spicy Eggplant, with its sautéed eggplant, finger pepper, bell pepper, and basil in a spicy tangy black bean sauce, is a fiery flirtation with the tastier side of danger. Meanwhile, the Volcano Seafood is an eruption of flavors, with shrimps, scallops, mussels, squid, and jumbo lump crabmeat creating a seismic shift in your seafood expectations.I would be remiss if there wasn't a mention of the truly fantastic noodle dishes with a southern Thai twist -- their signature Dok Khao Pad Thai and Bamee Gang. The Pad Thai Pad Thai, a riff on the classic, where thin rice noodles dance with peanut, roasted pork, egg, bok choy, and bean sprouts in a homemade spicy sweet soy sauce that's nothing short of legendary. The Bamee Gang takes your taste buds on a journey where egg noodles and marinated grilled chicken mingle with bok choy, ginger, and crushed peanut in a spicy curry sauce that's as complex as Bangkok's bustling streets.Desserts at Dok Khao are the perfect encore to an already spectacular meal. The Thai Tea Creme Brulee is a silky seduction of Thai Tea custard with a hint of vanilla bean and a touch of Grand Marnier, while the Golden Banana and Mango Sticky Rice are sweet serenades to the soul, ending the meal on a high note of tropical bliss.Overall, Dok Khao is a vibrant celebration of Thai cuisine, served with a side of flair and a dash of whimsy. So, if you're in Columbia and your spirit yearns for an adventure, let Dok Khao be your guide. It's a journey where every dish is a destination, and every sip of their fantastic cocktails is a toast to the tantalizingly tasty cuisine of Southeast Asia.“
“This place was amazing. When I saw the one dish salad and sliced steak with fries, only options. I was a bit skeptical. However, this place rocks. Steak made perfect to order, and the home made gravy and fresh bread delicious. The Lavender 75 drink was a great refreshing beverage. Definitely will be our new date night spot.“
“This was my second business lunch and apart from it being a most beautiful resturant, the food and service lives up to its beauty. Our server, Jose was perfect in decorum as well as response. My AHI Tuna was perfect in all respects and the quality was most evident in its color and texture with a perfect searing. My assocites crab cake was as good as it gets in the Maryland tradition. Can't wait to pick out my fish for a dinner, sometime soon.“
“Always love coming here when I'm in the area. I used to frequent this place when I lived down there, and still go almost every time I'm back down. Brunch is my favorite, and the duck poutine is phenomenal.Staff is always friendly and great “

“I read some of the reviews of this restaurant prior to arriving because I was staying at the hotel. At first, I was a bit skeptical of even entertaining the idea of trying this restaurant based on what people wrote, therefore, I started researching other restaurants within close proximity. Whenever my wife and I arrived at the hotel (7 Feb 2024), it was a little bit later than anticipated, so we ended up just staying on property and eating at this restaurant - thankfully it was still open. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted very nicely by a couple of employees. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant wasn't busy at all so it was quiet...adding to the enjoyable/relaxing atmosphere. When we sat down and read through the drink menu, I quickly realized that I was on the East Coast because I saw one of my favorite beers on the menu...Yuengling! Being from Las Vegas, NV, we don't have that beer in the city, as odd as it may sound, considering that city has pretty much everything. So whenever I travel East, I try to find this beer whenever I can.Our server, Meaza, was phenomenal! It was refreshing to have a server who was very friendly, attentive, efficient, and amiable...because it seems rare these days to have customer service like this. Our food was amazing; it's unfortunate that other people didn't have that same experience (based on their reviews). We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wings, Salmon Piccata, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, Sautéed Spinach, and Steamed Broccoli. I will say that I've had slightly better Buffalo Chicken Wings, but these weren't awful either. Having experienced so many different restaurants in Las Vegas, it can be difficult at times to eat anywhere else without having a bias towards Las Vegas dining. But I can honestly say that the quality and quantity of this restaurant's entrées were remarkable. The following day, my wife and I tried the breakfast at this restaurant in hopes that the previous night's dinner wasn't a fluke. We opted for the full breakfast buffet because for one, I reserved the hotel room that comes with this buffet every morning. Also, it's more beneficial, from a price standpoint, to get the full buffet ($16.95), versus ordering off the menu. You can also order the continental buffet which costs $11.95; however, I wasn't in the mood to just get cold breakfast food. The options were spectacular...and the quality of the food was even more astonishing. We ended up eating the full buffet for the entire stay and the food options were the same for the most part - I think my favorite entrée/item on the buffet line was the Mushroom Casserole and of course the bacon. Also, of noteworthy significance, both Irene and Angela did such a prodigious job with their customer service skills to which I wish this business would publicize their incredible skills for other restaurant's employees to emulate. They were both VERY friendly, professional, attentive, and highly efficient in every way.The décor was nice but I felt that the fabric on some of the booth seating could use some deep steam cleaning...to include the carpets. Overall, my experience here was extraordinary. I can't validate others' experience, but based on ours, I highly recommend this restaurant to all visitors and locals.“
“Went today and had a taco salad and it was great!! Just the right combination of ingredients and was hit and NOT greasy. Server was very attentive and was watching as she removed the plate soon after finishing and stopped by a couple of times to see if everything was ok. Definitely will be returning“
“I wouldn't consider our trip a typical one Berghaus it was game night (Ravens vs Chiefs AFC championship), so they were super busy. I'd definitely give them another try, although it was pricy for what it was. There's plenty of TVs everywhere, so you're pretty much guaranteed a good view of the action.“
“This is a great spot. When my kids have a soccer tournament in the area we always swing by here because they have great and quick service, a good menu, and always have sports on the tube! If we are in the area this is absolutely a place to swing by. They also have a great brunch menu.“
“My friend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. It’s a cute restaurant with a nice vibe. The food is good, especially the cheeseburger nachos. Love the margs. The service was great, very attentive and fast too. Caleigh did a great job, especially with how busy the place was. Our appetizer came out about 5 minutes after ordering. Will definitely be back to check out the happy hour.“
“Nice lounge with live DJ. Music was good and had a good crowd. The food was good but a little overpriced. The servers were really nice but may need to hire more. The few they have could not keep up with everyone's food order and hardly came back around to take drink orders.“
“We held a retirement party there in the bar area. The food was great and Allison, the manager, was very attentive and polite! She made sure that the buffet table was always full and had plates and forks brought out for the cake. The bartenders, Christy and Julie, kept up with all our beverage orders. They all helped to make it a wonderful event! Rick and Martie“
“Fabulous location for lunch during theek or weekend. French Dip $15.95, made with Pastrami is fantastic. Trivia Night on Wednesday's & Karaoke Night on Thursday’s. What a wonderful neighborhood gem!Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger is my favorite“
“TRY THE FAMILY STYLE. My husband and I have eaten here plenty of times but this time we had our kids with us. We tried the family style menu and we're extremely impressed by the portion sizes and how everything was served. We were given the option of two appetizers which were huge and plenty to split amongst four people. In addition, we had two large salads, one of which we didn't even touch because one salad was enough for the family of four. Our waitress suggested several menu options which the kids and I loved. My husband was able to get his favorite rigatoni D. We all still had so much food at the end of our meal that we packed most of it up for leftovers. The best part of the family meal was the desserts. Small portions of each of the desserts on their menu were served, allowing the kids in my husband and I to try a piece of each one. We left extremely happy and full.“
