It has a small group of regulars and if you know who I'm referring to then you're probably one of them. But outside of them most people just keep to themselves. Like I said though, you go for the drinks and they're cheap & strong ( I've never had their food) .“

“We were a little surprised to start the evening by ringing a doorbell to get in, but the warm welcome that followed put us at ease right away. The atmosphere is fantastically unique, quirky, and full of character. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and the service was quick.

We ordered the Mac ’n’ Cheese with Jerk Chicken, Yuca Bites, Chorizo con Arroz y Gandules and the Cinnamon Mini Donuts. Everything was perfectly seasoned (especially great if you enjoy a bit of heat like we do). The only downside was that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.

It also looks like they host a lot of interesting events like book readings, sip-and-paints, comedy shows and more. We didn’t get a chance to attend one this time, but it definitely added to the charm and made us want to come back.“

“I've never been in the actual bar Part but if I have to go to a liquor store in the neighborhood it is by far the best one. Good selection, reasonable prices, tend to keep a lot of the riff Raff and beggars from hanging out. The owners and people that work there are very nice also. There's at least 12 liquor stores right here within walking distance and if they're open they're the ones that I spend my money with. Even late at night I feel safe going to the ATM here.“

“Been here twice, once was years ago pre-pandemic and it was fabulous. We said we should come back here more often but never did… then the pandemic messed everything up and we went travel nursing. Now we’re back in town again… AND ITS STILL AMAZING. I got a jalfrezi, and hubby got tikka masala. The medium felt like a true medium, not whitewashed. Service was lovely. We were one of two couples who dined in, but looks like they have a busy takeout business. So glad they didn’t disappear in the pandemic like so many other places!
