“A restaurant inside the Double Tree hotel. It was not busy, and service was prompt and efficient. The food was just okay. The menu has a few choices in each section of appitizers, soup and salads, sandwiches and dinner entrees. The buttermilk chicken patty on the sandwich was a bit tough and tasted like the meat had been frozen. The crab cake was good, with fresh crab and not too much filler. The old bay chips had a flavor that did not appeal to me“

“Everything past the two horrible hostess was excellent. Please re-educate them on what their job is, they set a tone from the beginning. Now to the relevant parts. My server Melyka was sincerely a breathe of fresh air from the attitude and eye roll I experienced at the beginning, she just walked up with the biggest smile and her Energy was amazing, it actually calmed me down lol. She constantly checked on me. Every runner was also pleasant who brought my food out. The food was hot and fresh. The mozzarella sticks were perfect, the big bites were hot and flavourful and the chicken tender (honey Chipotle) were cooked perfectly and crispy. I ordered a side salad as well that was so pretty (NOT just thrown on plate) It was a busy night, but food came out in a timely matter and job well done ( Besides the hostesses once again, sorry just unnecessary rudeness grinds my gears)“

“The is a true local gem. The bar is decorated in a 1970’s theme. They offer old timey beers like Stroh’s and Schaefer as well as inventive cocktails. The menu consists of unique pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Their wings are tender, tasty and delicious. The bar has a pub like quality and the clientele is friendly and welcoming. “This is my favorite place to go in Baltimore. Aside from my house. I don't know what to point out as the deciding factor, but it just feels comfortable to me. The food is good, not great — I absolutely love the French Dip Cheesesteak. The wait staff and bartenders are always beyond friendly. We've done trivia nights and game days and quiet nights. My wife absolutely loves the dirty martini. Her favorite in the city. And it's a short walk from my home. I hope it's here for another 100 years.“

“I heard the stories about this place and it had been closed for a couple of years as the hotel it's in underwent renovation and ownership changes but it's back open and I couldn't be happier.

Steve the bartender is currently a one man show and we were there on the weekend it reopened and he was so happy to be back in his happy place. The man is a cocktail maven who loves his craft and what he does and his customers as well.

There is currently no menu here you ask for what you want or can tell Steve what you are in the mood for and he will make something amazing!

I got a smoked old fashioned that he smokes with his own blend of wood and spices and it was easily in the Top 5 of best old fashioneds I've ever had.

“It made for a lovely date night with my wife, who fortunately made reservations in advance. The cocktails are creative and tasty. Our server danced to the jazz band. At first it feels crowded because you're seated so close to other folks, but very quickly it feels like you're in your own cocoon. Highly recommend.“

“We were a little surprised to start the evening by ringing a doorbell to get in, but the warm welcome that followed put us at ease right away. The atmosphere is fantastically unique, quirky, and full of character. The bartenders were genuinely friendly and the service was quick.

We ordered the Mac ’n’ Cheese with Jerk Chicken, Yuca Bites, Chorizo con Arroz y Gandules and the Cinnamon Mini Donuts. Everything was perfectly seasoned (especially great if you enjoy a bit of heat like we do). The only downside was that the portions felt a bit on the smaller side.

It also looks like they host a lot of interesting events like book readings, sip-and-paints, comedy shows and more. We didn’t get a chance to attend one this time, but it definitely added to the charm and made us want to come back.“

But the shining star is the bartender, Maggie, who not only remembered us after several days between visits but also remember our cocktail orders from the previous visit. The art bar concept is also super creative and fun. If I could put this bar in my pocket and take it back to where I live, I'd do it in a second. “I rate all restaurants based on how they compare to similar places. This is basically a dive bar vibe with elevated food. Service was great, cocktails were well made and creative and the food was outstanding and varied. We will be back... I suspect regularly! Bonus... Prices a very reasonable. Most craft cocktails are $12-14. The food was also a good value.
Service: 5 nothing fancy... Just efficient and friendly.
Food: 5 Great quality, creative choices. Fantastic 'bar food'.
Atmosphere: 4.5 Clean, comfortable and a great vibe.
Price: 5... Great value. The kind of place that makes you forget about Cross Street (Atlas) and other more expensive places.

It is completely retro from the gold tinsel hanging on the walls to the hanging red light strands, the disco balls, a front door covered in stickers, the vintage widows and bar and even vinyl night. “Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“
