“I'm really sorry to say this but our amazing Pasadena institution looks like it may be coming to an end. Drove by a few days ago with my wife and they were closed. Got a little curious and this morning drove over just to see if people were working on the place and they were. The people doing construction told me that the bar is closed permanently. I have been going here for over 30 years now and I hope that's not true. But it looks like it is, hopefully people find out and get together to celebrate the good times and find out what's happening with Irv also. Thanks for all the drinks, laughs and pep talks when no one was around Irv! Pasadena and the entire country thank you for your service! Just not making guys like you anymore, thank you buddy! “Love this little hidden gem! It’s a very small bar with a comfortable “family-like” atmosphere. Very rarely crowded but even when it is, the customers are very friendly! They have one pool table and a shuffle board, both of which we’ve spent hours playing. It’s kind of hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area, but we asked a man mowing his lawn if he knew where this place was and he didn’t hesitate. This is the closest I’ve found to a bar with a “Cheers-where everyone knows your name” vibe!“

“I was very excited when I found this place. The ramen itself is good, but I think the broth could use more flavor. I enjoyed all the toppings and the pork was delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try the other types they have. I like how they have the sauces on the table to help enhance the flavor, and even serve a side of kimchi (which was a wonderful surprise, because I’ve never been served kimchi at a ramen shop before)The decor was very beautiful and made the rover all experience much more enjoyable.“
“If you have looked at any of my reviews you will see that I liked the old neighborhood style bars. And the Lakeshore Tavern is 100% just that! If you are new to the bar and you walk in there within a half hour you feel like you know everybody and everybody is willing to talk to you. There is one table along with good bar appetizers, and happy hour prices. I strongly suggest if you're in the area to stop by and have an enjoyable time.“
“Twain's has some great live music. The staff is generally very friendly. They have a nice selection of food and drink choices. That being said the floor space in front of the stage is small. It's difficult to navigate and very cramped, especially If you have mobility issues. If you enjoy live music and want to be close to stage, without issues, this not the venue. People get drunk, agitated and aggressive in the small space and it ruins the vibe. I've had 6 foot or taller men literally put hands on me, and push me out of the way when there is not space for them several times, to the point of bruising. If the stage area was more welcoming, it would be my goto for live music because the line up is awesome and it's local.“
“Just recently went back to fifers after hearing it's under new management and that they planned on bringing it back to the way it used to be, especially the all you can eat seafood special. They definitely impressed me. They had everything on the seafood list available unlike in the past where they never had Dungeness crab, or ran out of clams. They had everything, and they weren't stingy with the portions. They gave us full trays freshly steam of what we asked for. All the food was good. The new fried shrimp were awesome and a must try. The ladies waiting on us were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for the all you can eat seafood menu. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the price on the all you can eat seafood menu per person has shot up significantly. Still will make this a go to spot for some fresh seafood.“
“I used to frequent Fifer’s for my lunch breaks, as their daily specials were a great value for the money. $6 tacos or fish sandwich was really good quality and price!Unfortunately they bumped all the special prices up over $10 and it’s simply not the deal it once was. “We apparently came on a bar crawl night but we still got seated for dinner immediately. Our server, Brooke, was great. She gave us time to ask questions and read through the menu/drinks. We ordered a calamari appetizer, chicken Riesling and crab cake dinner. All was great and my husband said the crab cake was one of the best he ever ate. My chicken had a creamier sauce with mushrooms and bacon. Very tasty! For dessert we had the special Bailey's cheesecake. It was topped with a thick piece of chocolate (not my favorite) but the creamy center was delicious. It was extremely loud but beyond that the food was good!“

And if you don't want something alcoholic, you can ask the bartender to mix any of their juices and syrups with a soda (favorite combinations: Prickly Pear syrup + Lemon + Sprite. “Daniels is a decent place to get a bite to eat. Their food is only average, and I have had bad meals here. My last meal, order of wings was great. Service was slow, but we were a party of 10, so I suppose that to be expected. ****Update - tried this place a few more times. Completely different experiences. We now love this place. Food quality was great. The cheese steak was great, the burgers are phenomenal and staff is super friendly. They even have love music some nights. We will continue to visit this place.“

The service is timely, attentive, and very conscientious of making your experience great. “I rented this place for a surprise party and when I tell you they didn’t disappoint, I mean they were EXCEPTIONAL! Vero kept in constant contact with me from beginning to end. She made me feel like a family member with her kindness. Even her daughter came in on the day of the party and helped set up the slide show! Jimmy worked so hard to make it perfect and it was also his birthday!! Our bartenders, Angel and Tiffany were phenomenal, not just with drinks but personality too! Angel even came in early to help us set up! The staff at On The Rocks made it so easy that everyone, myself included was able to relax and enjoy the night. Oh and did I mention the food?! Delicious!!! HUGE thank you to everyone at On The Rocks. I highly recommend using them for private events and plan to make this my new “go to” spot for unwinding with good food, good drinks and great vibes!“

“Our family went here this evening (Easter) for dinner. We were a party of 11. In spite of it being a holiday, us having a large party and the restaurant being busy.......service was 100% on point! Rafael was our server and he was excellent the ENTIRE time. He consistently checked in on us throughout the entire time we were there and graciously accommodated us in every way. Not only was Rafael great....... the restaurant had several large parties and I could see that the management team was not just present. It was "all hands on deck" to ensure everyone had an amazing experience. I appreciate the attentiveness, the kindness and warmth we were given from the entire team. And I certainly don't want to leave out the food and chefs?The food was great. The calamari was cooked perfectly. The Lobster Ravioli wstile the show but, everyone was pleased with their selections. Everything came out warm and to our liking.You don't always get great experiences when dining out on holidays, but today was exceptionaland this team really shined.“

“I've walked past Martini Bar a ton of times but never stopped for a drink. I finally stopped by for a drink when I was flying out of BWI last month. My martini (I went with a classic dirty vodka martini, but they have a full menu of martinis and other cocktails) was good, and I really loved all of outlets for charging. The service was really good, and it was a great place to have a cocktail (or did I have two?) and do a little work or reading while waiting for a flight.“

“I'd give it 5 stars because Michelle the bartender is an AMAZING conversationalist and not too shabby to look at either ;]But the guy who installed that POS system for shots must SQUEAK WHEN HE WALKS, because those shots of top shelf are chincy af. The number of metal rings on the pourer spout of the bottle determines the amount of liquid in your shot. 1 ring is usually rail or cheap alcohol for bombs or whatever, but 3 rings (like on the crown royal I usually drink) means your getting a smaller shot.Lastly, good luck finding bar space or elbow room on pool league nights.“

“Almost empty on a spring weeknight. My s-in-law's fajita dinner was huge and he especially enjoyed the carnitas. I thought my chicken taco and enchiladas were a little dry, but they came with plenty of rice and refried beans. The grandkids devoured their meals an I appreciated that small cones were included with their meal. Nonetheless, we ordered desert, which the six of us together could not finish. The bill came out to a very reasonable $100.“
