“Wonderful experience. We loved our waiter, Gabe. My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary. He told us congratulations and offered us each a complimentary glass of champagne right off the bat. We soon had warm bread brought to our table and then we ordered cocktails and two appetizers. All delicious. Baked brie was phenomenal. My husband had the filet mignon & I ordered a ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. After we were nearly stuffed, Gabe offered us a complimentary dessert to share. Overall an amazing experience. Cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!”

“We had a great lunch at Phoenix in Old Ellicott. Service was fantastic. “The Bear”, inspired by the show, was probably the best sandwich I’ve had in a restaurant in well over a decade. I never thought I’d get to try one of these outside of Chicago, so it was a real treat. The giardiniera and au jus really set it off. My wife got the crab quiche and raved about that too.”

I’ve been to this cafe a couple of times and had great food and drinks both times. Most recently I went for Saturday brunch with a friend. I should have expected it, but the line was very long. That said, the girl at the counter was working her tail off not only talking orders but also making all of the beverages for each order (including seasonal lattes). Everyone in the kitchen seemed to be working non stop, so I give them kudos for such a delicious meal.

I got The Ian (toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs) and my friend got the OG breakfast bowl. Both were delicious and we cleaned our plates. We also both got oat milk PSL’s which were flavorful and yummy.

We sat upstairs, which was a bright and had plenty of extra seating despite the downstairs being pretty packed. We sat and talked for a while, and someone came around to ask how the meal was and take our dishes, which was nice. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

I didn’t order any baked goods, but I did notice they have a variety of Greek sweets as well as even some vegan baked goods. They all looked incredible, and I’ll be trying something next time.”

“This unassuming place serves delectable, 100% authentic Korean “pub grub.” The friendly owners took the time to explain the menu. They also made sure we had plenty to drink and eat throughout our stay. Our orders came out of the kitchen quickly…and the food was DELICIOUS! ?

The plain fried chicken was a bit bland (we ordered it for the young kids…so it was perfect for them). However, anything that is seasoned I’d recommend. The owner brought a free “sampler platter” of condiments to our table midway through our meal. This sampler included kimchi. I lived in Korea for 6 months; Seoul Pub boasts the best kimchi I’ve ever tried. The kimchi is both mild and complex in flavor.

The prices here are also amazingly reasonable. We ate well and drank well, yet our total pre-tip (for a party of 8 adults) was under $200.

I’d highly recommend Seoul Pub for a night of great Asian food and drinks (the Soju is delicious).”

“Good food with good service! I ate there several times as someone new to Korean food and enjoyed and left satisfied! I had the kimchi pancake, steamed eggs, and other dishes during my visits! All good experiences with good food! This place is worth a visit and worth a drive to try out Korean cuisine!”

“Cafe June is a hidden yet popular gem in Ellicott City. The cafe has a wooden and natural vibe, somewhere teleworkers may feel comfortable setting up their laptop.

Parking in the small lot out front and finding a table will be difficult during busy hours but there's more parking nearby. We found a shared table near a woman with her laptop and it was perfectly comfortable, you won't feel squished. There are signs politely requesting that guests limit their stay to a very generous 90 minutes so other customers may have seating.

We spent $35 for a large sweet cream cold brew, large dark chocolate frappe, pesto sunrise sandwich and the tomato basil soup with three slim baguettes. The drinks were very, very tasty and quickly made. The cold brew was especially good and the frappe was decadent, similar to a smoothie. The sandwich and tomato soup, although tasty, were smaller portions for the price, however it's Ellicott City and the higher price is expected considering the area. I wish I saw a grilled cheese on the menu, perhaps I missed it but that plus some salad options would be nice additions. The small portions and price are why I gave 4 stars overall. If the portions were slightly larger or the costs were a little less this would be 5 stars easily.

The staff we interacted with were all very kind and quick. The establishment is clean, comfortable and many food/drink options for all diets. We sincerely look forward to returning to Cafe June!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarians can be creative here and request meat removed from sandwiches. Vegans may have a tough time but there are options that can be made vegan.”

“Starbucks @ Target is very busy most of the time. Customers who come for shopping at Target frequently visit Starbucks as well. There were only two staff members whenever I visited them. They were very busy but served all customers very well. They were very polite and quick. Though some customers were of demanding type, Starbucks staff handled them very professionally. I am really satisfied with their service. As usual 'Starbucks Hot Chocolate' is world class. Whenever I visit Target, I never forget to taste the Hot Chocolate. I wish to suggest the management to provide few chairs (if possible) for older people as I saw some senior citizens finding it little tough to enjoy their Starbucks meals while standing. I love Starbucks.”
