As a pescatarian, I have a terrible time finding good Asian noodle soup in Baltimore. Either the broth is made with pork or it's a sugar bomb. We first tried Hot Pot Hero last summer at friends' recommendation and were wowed. I even asked to have my birthday dinner here rather than at a fancier place. DH prefers mild broth, so he gets the vegetarian tomato one and adds meat, noodles, and veg; I love spicy food, so I opt for the spicy mushroom broth and go wild with seafood, tofu, noodles, and condiments. It takes us 45-50 minutes to get here from the city, but it's the rare suburban restaurant that we find worth the schlep.

Went here last minute and it was actually quite nice! It's listed as a Ramen place but I think they only serve Chinese style ramen/ lamian. There's a Ben Gong Tea next to it and they have such a large menu! I got the Beef tendon noodles I think and a brown sugar tea and both were quite good! The milk tea was surprisingly sweet but probably pme of the best I've had (like even better than gong cha and tiger sugar imo) so I'd like to go back and try more! From both places. Also the seating area is very nice, perfect for studying or hanging out. And the staff at both places are quite nice.

Vegetarian options: You can get sushi before a certain time I think? And they have vegetarian sides like sweet potato fries and edamame

Didn’t want the best fake pho next door (even though it’s decent) so we tried the food at the bubble tea place.(Their bubble tea is good - I got the brown sugar one.) I got the beef noodle soup with tendon and liked it. My daughter had the Lanzhou beef noodle soup and she liked hers too. We’d come back to have it again and try their other food.

Best restaurant in this area!

My husband can't handle spicy food so he ordered the regular beef noodle dish but it was covered in spicy oil so much so that when I had it it burned my lips. It also wasn't that great . I wouldn't recommend it for the noodle dishes. Wouldnt say its worth the money

Seriously so Good hot pot. The sauce bar is literally to die for. It’s so good. The service is quick and the price is far. The sauce bar really sets this over the top.

Love this place!!! Brings me back to my childhood and my hometown. Nice portion and very flavorful, we got the fish rice noodles and tomato beef noodle and the pancakes to dine in, my toddler ate tons of my fish and tomato noodles, she was very happy with her lunch ended up dance at the restaurant with their bgm haha. My husband said their food is so good, the more you eat the more you get hungry ? We will be back!!! And it’s so convenient they are next to the BEST bubble tea place in town. WAY better than other chains.

Foods decent. Would have liked to see food prep gloves worn. Not exactly Taiwanese but there are some similarities. Noodle soups are the best item on the menu.

I saw the noodle pictures displayed on their wall which looked delicious but made a bad decision. I should’ve used that money and purchased next store “Best Pho”. As the photo below the broth is bland no flavor at all just water and noodles. My chili pepper was the only thing that I can taste. The appetizers, I’ve had it before and it’s decent but I would definitely not recommend the noodle soups to anyone. My wife got a bowl and she says that it’s bland too.

First time at a hot pot restaurant and hands down one of the best meals I've had in years. Looking forward to going back to try the rest

Good sauce station, attentive staff, robust selection of add-ons and an average selection of the essential broths. I guess my only complaint is that the lamb was shredded, I guess we got some end pieces or something, but because they were so small the flavor didn't really come through. Overall though, I suggest it, and I'll definitely return.

OMG！ Childhood favorite food is here! I also tried their Sushi, OMG love the black dragon roll.

best poke bowl in the area. Will be back again
