Sooo good! I got the spicy tantan. Not spicy but the broth was extremely flavorful and creamy. The pork melted in my mouth. I dont live in the area but cant wait to go back.

Super pumped about discovering this local gem. Was looking for a new Ramen spot and saw that this spot had great reviews. It definitely lived up to what everyone had to say. I was a little worried when I first arrived, as the location is in a rundown strip center. The parking can get tight, but luckily I was able to find a spot. The place is super cool inside and has a unique vibe. The menu has a nice selection of Ramen and appetizers. All which are well priced. I ordered the spicy tantan ramen. It was delicious. The broth was the perfect consistency and had a ton of great flavor. It's not very spicy, so if you're looking for a kick, you may want to ask for additional spice. The pork melted in your mouth and had a smokey taste. Just delish!!! All for less than $15 bucks! Super great find. Can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. Particularly the meat skewers.

This place is great. All the kabobs and other small plates are delish. Ramen noodles a tad overcooked but overall tasty. Love the variety

THE BEST PLACE FOR RAMEN EVER. I know the area looks kind of sketch, but you'll never regret it! Service was amazing, food was delivered quickly and hot. The flavors were AMAZING. Proud to say VERY VEGAN FRIENDLY. Flavors for vegans were DELICIOUS with TONS of options. Please do not sleep on this cute little restaurant! My boyfriend had to help me leave bc I was going into a food coma by the end of my time in the restaurant. I've never been so full in my life. Money very well spent and I can't wait to go back.

This place is my go to for comfort ramen in howard county! Beyond Ramen & Kabob has the best combination of nearby casual low-key dining with good ramen well-priced. If I am feeling a little more upscale and sushi with my ramen, I would probably go to akira next to columbia mall, and if I want the best ramen that's a little more expensive, I would probably go to Rockville. The place is small, but I've never seen the place packed before. I have ordered a couple of things on their menu, but I recommend sticking getting what they do best which is the ramen. The Kabobs are good but I think overly price for the small amounts of meat you get on each stick. The beef Kabobs reminds me of the same flavors from the meat carts in Flushing, NY. My kids don't eat ramen so they always get the steamed dumplings. The dumplings are pretty good, they are pretty light and I think they make it in-house.

We did a carry out order, and were extremely happy withbour order. The ramen does not disappoint—especially the tasty broth! We also could not get enough of the chashu buns (see beef pancake in other reviews for this restaurant). They are absolutely worth ordering. The service was excellent. Our order was ready at the designated time, and everything was correct. We hope to return soon to dine in.

I just tried this place for the first time and WOW! The food is a mix of Japanese and northern Chinese cuisine and the atmosphere is similar to a Japanese Izakaya--informal, fun, a great place to meet friends for a beer and some great, inexpensive food. The black garlic oil ramen was well flavored and colorful. The lamb skewers were succulent and well-seasoned; you can ask for mild or spicy. But the undisputed star of the show were the homemade water dumplings--the skins were the perfect thickness and texture and the beef and celery filling popped by itself and was even better when combined with the black vinegar dipping sauce. Honestly they may be the best dumplings I have ever eaten. They make two other kinds of dumpling (shrimp and chive, and pork and cabbage)--we'll be sure to try those the next time!
