Delicious food! Service goes above and beyond! We love the Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Honey Chicken, Rainbow Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Singapore Rice Noodles, Spring Rolls and Crab Rangoon. Our favorite in Ellicott City!
We come across town past several other Chinese restaurants to get our carry out here. Excellent quality and portion size, staff is family friendly. Never had an issue that wasn’t resolved without any hassle, and really never had a major issue ever in 20 years. I’ve been a customer at this location since the early 90s
Call around 8:45 pm to place an order for string beans and rice and I said that I wanted a small order. The person that I spoke with said that it was a lunch special only and she would give it to me. I said that okay I don’t want to place the order, it’s too much food. She said, this time I’ll give it to you, I said okay. I told her that I didn’t want eggs in my rice because I am vegan, she said okay.
I arrived about 1 minute before closing to pick up my order but when I got home it was all rice and no string bings.
I called the next day to let her know that I didn’t receive the string bings and it was only rice. She argued me down that I wanted all rice. I said to her, you can order small rice anytime it does have to be a lunch special which was the topic of our original discussion when I placed the order.
She was so rude and over talking me until I told her that I would not be returning there to order any food. She said okay and hung up. Mind you I have been going there for at least 13 years but with her attitude I will not be returning. How you treat people makes a difference.
She called me back to say , okay we can give you the string bings. I told her no, I will not be returning, period.
We need to be careful how we treat people, especially customers. Social media is a powerful tool and once the word gets out you loose customers.
This situation could have been handled better than she did so it’s their loss, not mine.
I chose not to be disrespected!!!!!
Visited for lunch and bought the pepper steak luncheon platter.
Food is great and the employees are very friendly!

This place is small and no one else dined in when we were there, but the phone rang off the hook and the doorbell often sounding. The most significant detail I want to mention is the portion size. WOW! I’ve never gotten so much food for my money at a Chinese restaurant. The food is literally served in glass pie plates, to give you an idea of size. It was tasty, too! Many vegetarian options. Veggies were crisp and not overcooked too, which is another great plus!
Was passing through the area around 7pm and had dinner here. Ordered Shrimp and Scallop in Hot Garlic Sauce with a wonton soup. There were some chopped up scallop pieces which maybe add up to one whole piece. Not many shrimp in the dish either. The taste was pretty good although it was lacking shrimp and scallops. Many takeout places offer more abundant seafood than this place. The wonton soup did not match the description. In the menu they show you several small wontons with translucent wrappers in a vegi decorated tasty looking soup as in an authentic Chinese dish. What you get is plain tasteless soup with two thick skinned wontons which tasted worse than what you get from many buffet places. Definitely not worth trying. They made no efforts on this item so that it actually would have some taste. Service was subpar. Hardly anybody noticed when you water cup went dry despite the restaurant being almost empty. Then there was also the myth that mandarin speakers were treated poorly in Cantonese restaurants. I wasn't sure if this was real or not. In this case, however the actual experience did make you feel that maybe someone wanted to put a Bak Lou (北佬)in his proper place. The owner's response afterwards failed to even acknowledge the issues...with that of course also goes the chance that they would improve in anyway.

I have been coming here for years, they are fantastic people and even more fantastic cooks. It’s comfort food when you’re not feeling well, It’s a family meal after a busy workday, and it’s even more special when it’s the only safe food during a tricky pregnancy. I love this place with all my heart and hope for many many more years of enjoying their food. Thanks for making me feel like a part of the family ❤️

Great neighborhood Chinese restaurant. This place has some of the best General Tsos I've ever had, and the dumplings are top notch. Food is always fresh, and the owners are great. If you're in the area, give it a try!

They have indoor seating but refused to allow me to dine in so I went somewhere else. It is more of a carryout place but since they do have a dining room and I wanted to enjoy hot food I was a bit put off that they simply refused to seat me. I think that they should remove all the tables if they don't want to seat

We went to eat after a football game this evening. I don't think they were prepared for us to dine in. They were visably shocked that we asked for a table. The food was delicious and hot and the service was fast!Orange chicken was delicious. So was General Tao's shrimp.

First time takeout. I ordered the orange chicken. It came well packaged, tasted good, and the portion was generous. In the words of the Terminator, "I'll be back!"
