Our first time here on a recommendation. Our experience was great! My daughter and I really enjoyed the quality of the Kalbi, spicy noodles and side dishes. What made it especially special was the attentiveness and charisma of our host/server Yoo Jin P. She showed pride in what she does and attended to all our requests. We will definitely be back with friends and family. Thanks 😊

I grew up around Korean food my whole life from my family and living in NY. This WILL be my go-to spot now that I’m in MD, no question. Yoojin and the staff were amazing, this was everything I want/expect when having KBBQ or one of their soups,

Best KBBQ food i've ever had. Meat quality and cooking were incredible. Staff was repetitively rude to my party and I. Came with a party of 7. Showed up 20 minutes before 6:30pm reservation and was told we were a half hour late for our reservation? Right from the door we were being ignored and lied to. Waitress rushed us to order as soon as we sat down. Restaurant was so loud that no one at the table was able to hear what she was trying to say to us while trying to order Everyone rushed us through. I would give a 1 star but the waitress took my wife's PHD graduation celebration cake and brought it back with a candle and sang for her. So that was nice. Was very packed/fast paced.

Today we were at the restaurant because we were going to have dinner. A family came from New York because they wanted to try this food for the second time, but at the place they told us that there were no tables for 8 people, only 4. The lady went. Rude, unpleasant, and told us there were no tables for 8. If we wanted one for 4 it was fine, she wanted to split us up and put 4 and 4 separate where it is not necessary and told us that if we didn't like it that way we could leave.

I was very excited to try this place for the first time. We went for a birthday dinner. It’s a nice space. The food was good and the service was good. We were a group of four and our meal was over by 30 minutes. By 31 minutes they brought the check. By 35 minutes they were picking up our signed check slips and dishes. By 36 minutes they pulled the grill off the table. By 43 minutes they took away our water which was full. They had brought us more hot tea around the time they brought the check and we were finishing our hot tea and at 47 minutes total the lady said, sorry, I need your table. Like Christ almighty may I not have an hour to have dinner and finish my tea? We weren’t rude and we weren’t going to stay longer than it took to finish the tea. It was just not a nice experience because it was so rushed and because it felt like if we weren’t actively forking over money then we weren’t welcome. I think an hour is a reasonable amount of time to have a table. I’m a former restaurant worker. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

Craving Galbitang, I did what any rational person would: skedaddled and endured the 40 minute drive in traffic to ChoSun Hwaro. Spoiler alert—it was so worth it. The broth? A warm hug for your soul. The meat? Chef’s kiss! The service was stellar, and the ramen bar? Cool enough to deserve its own fan club. 10/10, would skedaddle again.

This is one of the best kbbq place I've ever been to. I've tried lots of places but this place is hands down one of my top 3 kbbq places. I've been to this restaurant more than 5 times. Premium meat and side dishes.

Had a great date night at ChoSun Hwaro! We ordered the marinated galbi and pork butt. Both were flavorful and expertly prepared. The service was fast and very friendly. Highly recommend.

The food is ok, but the servers are not friendly and unwelcome. Don't be served by the blonde hair server.
