Great food. A little bit pricy but generous portions. The pastry counter has a marvelous variety of treats.

This place used to be nice but every time it's crowded the food is not prepared well or it's cold and I was very disappointed for the third time, I will not be dining there any longer,.

You know those ore-ida oven fries with the fake crunchy stuff? That’s what you get here. Plus a cold bun & a luke warm burger. Meh. All for a $60 lunch with tip for two. Won’t be back. Can’t believe how crowded it is. Shows you how lazy people are. Better food at McDonalds.

The diner was very busy when we arrived. I was told they were known for the crabcakes, which is my favorite meal, which came with soup and 2 sides. The shrimp bisque was good. I liked the fact the shrimp were cut up giving you pieces in every spoonful. The crab cake was a nice size however it wasn't even warm in the middle and too wet for me. It was sent back to be reheated. My BIL had the Reese's Peanut Butter stack of pancakes that he said were very good while my sister had a pasta dish she said was good.

EC Diner has amazing food at affordable prices! I had the pleasure of visiting on a Monday and indulged in their incredible lobster dinner, and it was perfection! The lobster was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and came with generous sides that made the whole meal satisfying. The service was top-notch as well, with friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're coming for their lobster special or just a casual meal, EC Diner delivers with delicious food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We came here because of all the good reviews. The place looks like an old diner, but doesn't have the same feel. Service was ok. We were only checked on once, and that's when we asked for the bill. There were flies all over the place and had to shoo them away constantly during our meal. We ordered the Korean style calamari. It was ok, a little salty, and for some reason it was served with marinara. I know that is a typical side for regular style calamari, but with the sweet, and spicy flavors of a Korean style dish, the sauce was a head scratcher, and was totally out of place. My wife ordered the Maryland Crab soup. What she got was a slightly crab flavored Minestrone. It tasted ok, but we didn't see a single piece of crab in the soup. At a cost of $8.99, there had better be some crab in it. I got a corned beef Rueben sandwich that was highly recommended. It was average at best. The beef was a bit chewy, and there was not enough dressing on it for my liking, so it ended up being a little dry. It came with a huge portion of fries, but they were the usual, nothing special kind. Those three items, and a Coke, and the final bill was $50 before tax, and tip. For those prices, you had better make the food memorable, and it wasn't. We won't be visiting again.

Parking: Parking can be tight, but there are other lots a short walk away if need be.

Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly- we go often for that exact reason.

I’ve been to EC Diner in several occasions but today I’m taking my time to write a review. This time I went to have brunch and I was really excited about their pumpkin pancakes. I ordered my usual western omelette and tried the pumpkin pancakes, so delicious. These are the best pumpkin pancakes I ever had ever eaten. I definitely recommend EC Diner to anyone, excellent service and delicious food .

Ordered the Chicken Chesapeake , house salad, cream of Crab soup and we had Nachos to start. The food was delicious, I was pleasantly surprised at the Cream of Crab it was very tasty could have used a little more seasoning in my opinion. Our server was attentive and polite. The only thing was in the area we were sitting in there was an odor which smelled of a dirty mop bucket.
