Wanted to share an most recent experience and changed the stars rating on service: this place is my go to place for authentic, comfort Korean meal until today. I ordered a tofu soup and was not given a bowl of hot rice. The next table to mine had one. Now, as a non-Korean customer, I felt not treated equally nor respected. I have been going to this place for years and gave pretty decent tips. This was the second time that I wasn't given the hot rice which led me to share this experience today. All I am asking is that this restaurant to treated every customers with respects and equal when it comes to giving foods just like every Korean people gets. Please do not be selective on who gets what as this hurt a foodie like me.

I had the kalguksu here and they were absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly chewy. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. If you’re looking for a comforting and satisfying meal, this place is a must-try!

The best service ever. They are so welcoming and food is really nice. Whether it’s hot or cold weather, they have all the food that fits for any kind of weather. Additionally, even from the side dishes, you can tell that this place is a hidden gem and a go to place when you feel authentic korean food! ❤️

Decided to try somewhere new for dinner. We took a while to figure out what to eat, and the staff didn't rush us. The waitress said the Grilled Sliced Marinated Beef would take 20 mins, and we were good with that. Both dishes were great. The owner asked us if we didn't like the food since we have a nice piece of beef to take home. But honestly, we were just full. We are looking forward to returning and trying other dishes.

Absolutely loved their spicy noodle soup with seafood mix. The noodle was perfectly al dente, broth was rich. The seafood pancake was one of the best I’ve had because of how crispy and chewy it is. All the dishes were large portions at great price! One of my favorite korean restaurants!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years—it’s long been one of my favorite Korean spots. However, after today’s visit, I won’t be returning.
I came in for lunch with friends. The restaurant wasn’t busy (only 2–3 tables were occupied), yet there were dirty dishes left sitting on the table next to us throughout our entire visit. While the staff seated us promptly and brought waters right away, we were then left waiting for over 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We had to flag someone down ourselves, which ended up happening more than once since no one came to check on us the entire time.
Our water glasses sat empty, and no refills were ever offered. The service was virtually nonexistent, and we adjusted our tip accordingly to reflect that. Ironically, as soon as we got up to leave, the staff suddenly appeared and ran after us to question the tip. After we explained our reasons, the server became visibly upset and started muttering angrily in Korean under her breath.
To make matters worse, I ordered the tofu sundubu, which I’ve enjoyed here before, but this time it was nothing like previous visits—just broth and tofu, missing the usual variety of ingredients. Maybe it was a mistake, but paying $20 for a bowl of watery broth and tofu felt absurd.
It’s disappointing to see how far the experience has fallen. Unfortunately, after today, I can no longer recommend this place.

I've been frequenting this restaurant for years, and I'm thrilled to say that under the new ownership, it's better than ever! The improvement in both the food quality and overall experience are undeniable. Every dish I've tried since the transition has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
You can tell the new management truly cares- not just about the food, but about the entire dining experience. The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere feels even more welcoming. It's clear they've put a lot of thought into elevating every aspect of the restaurant.
I'm so happy to see one of my favorite spots thriving, and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you haven't been in a while, now is the time to return- you won't be disappointed!

Worst customer service. They avoid taking the payment by gift cards, which doesn’t make sense AT ALL. I tried to appeal and they finally accepted my visa gift cards, which is totally legal and the customer right. And the hall manager blamed her clerk who treated me wrong. Such an irresponsible manager and poor quality of service.
