Food is so delicious here but the ahjumas here are hit or miss. Some are super nice and some are straight to the point and almost rude.Everything is delicious. Everything is worth trying once. Bossam here is to die for. And the grilled mackerel combo with the soon do bu is a lovely lunch meal.

The waitress stepped on my shoe, but she never apologized for that.

Worst experience of my life. The food was ok, but the service was just awful. Three of us came in and were the only ones so it wasn’t busy at all. The only time we saw the server was when she took our order and brought us the food. We wanted refills on a side dish but could not find her. We finally get her attention and then tells us the kitchen is closed even though there was still 40 minutes before the restaurant closed. Because there was no service we left minimum tip l, and the rude lady with a pony tail and heavy eyeliner hovered over us as we tipped. Normally, servers wait until after the customer leaves to get the receipt, but she stood next to us and took it the moment we wrote down the tip. Then she came back to us demanding more tip since she wanted 30% tip. She is the worst and rudest server I have ever experienced. I will never come back here again. The food wasn’t even that good and it’s overpriced for such small portions. There are better options in the area with much better service.

I am not happy about pork and intestine rice soup (daeji guk ban) to go potion nowadays. We have been ordering the soup to go on the regular basis but recently the portion size got way smaller than usual and it wouldn't fill me or any of my family member up anymore. Today, I ordered three soup to go and it looked like they splited one portion of soup into three. Each soup only had 3-4 pieces of meat and they looked like a kids meal. I could clearly see the portion got way smaller than before. I won't be coming back to this place anymore.

I went to get some food, and there were several waitress working there, but they had no intention of doing anything and were just chatting.Even when paying the bill, she throws the receipt away.I go there often because I like their foods, but those women always make me feel bad.

Hang Ari has some of the best Korean comfort food in the area. Prices are reasonable and service is really quick. I stopped by on a busy Sunday evening. The place was packed and people were piling in. I love how they have the service button so you can push if you need assistance. My friend and I shared the seafood, beef Soondubus and the spicy pork stir fried Jeyook Bokkeum. Food quality was on point. The stir fried pork was not spicy at all. It came out on a hot sizzling skillet. The sauce was on point! Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Soondubus are a must order. My seafood one came with some large prawns and clams. You can customize your spice level as well.Prices are fair here and I left full. Parking is really easy to find in the shopping center. They do not accept reservations at this time. I really enjoyed my experience here. Its wholesome Korean comfort food at reasonable prices. I even saw some people eating alone. Thats when you know the place is bomb. There is a wide variety of seafood and meat dishes to choose from. There is plenty of seating for small to large parties. The restaurant is a bit loud with people talking over each other. I'll definitely be back to try their galbi dishes.

The kalgooksu here is very good! They have generous portions with a ton of seafood. If I were to make this at home it would cost me more just for the seafood. The noodles are very chewy and good. The place is big, accommodating and the service was fast. We were in and out within an hour or less. Would definitely come back for kalgooksu when we're in the area.

I would give them 4 stars for the Seafood Kalgooksu & 바지락 (clam) Kalgooksu. It's not the best I've had but definitely best in the Ellicott city area, with generous portions (especially the amount of seafood you get). I wish the noodles were more chewier (felt slightly mushy) but I'm not complaining! It satiates my craving for Kalgooksu and I'd come back for them.2-3 stars for the service, the quality of their side dishes (their radish and beansprouts tasted very sour that I couldn't touch it at all). Also I've tried their naengmyun and soontofu and they were very much sub-par. If you're craving Kalgooksu in the area, this is the best option -- would go. But if you're looking to get any other Korean dishes, might be worth considering other spots!

Hangari offers a dining experience that could benefit from improvement. During my recent visit, I requested side dish refills for my children, and although I've been a loyal customer for the past three years, the service was less than satisfactory. Specifically, an older waitress, who never seemed to smile, responded to my request by informing us that refills would only be provided when our food was ready. This response left much to be desired and was rather disappointing, making us feel somewhat unwelcome.Furthermore, the quality of the dishes left room for improvement. The tofu soup was on the bland side, the galbi seemed overpriced for what it offered, and even the Kalguksu lacked the flavor we had hoped for. While the side dishes were acceptable, the overall experience could use some enhancement

I had to wait about35 minutes to get Bajiralkalgusoo during not busy hour. The kalguksoo should have clam fleshes but instead it had a lot of empty seashell in it. Do not go alone this restaurant. I got ignored because I went alone.

The food here is good. I love coming in the winter to get hot and spicy soups. The service is pretty good and the food will come out fast. Your table's food will come out as it's made versus all at the same time. The side dishes here are pretty standard.
