Crazy place. My food was brought out at least five minutes before wife's. The best part they charged me 50 cents for a to-go box, disgracefull. I'll never go back to here.

We drove by this area that had quite many Korean shops and stores. This restaurant located at the end of row houses. There were two other tables seated during the late weekend lunchtime. The decorations looked average. We ordered two combinations as shown in pictures on the menu. The Ja Jang Myun was way too sweet, so we could hardly finish the portions, and we still felt thirsty after a few hours into the dinner time. The Jam Bong came with good amount of seafood. The sauce in Pork Marinated In House was too sticky, so we could not finish that half, either.

Reading the bad reviews on this place is astounding. Every time I've ordered from them, I've been met with great food and service. If they can't understand you, they usually find someone who can. I love the pork tongsuyuk, the naeng myon, and the maewoon tofu! The ladies at the front are always pleasant and when an order is wrong -which it very seldom is- they either fix the food you ordered or they give you your money back.

I ordered jajangmyun, seafood Jamppong, and Khan pung Gi which is marinated fried chicken for my daughter's birthday.
What can I say, it was a very disappointing dinner for everyone and I won't order this food at this restaurant any time that I remember. 😞🗑💸

We love this place. It takes out well, too! Very authentic food that’s served in large portions.

They serve some of the best jajangmyeon in the DMV area. Da Rae Won can’t compete anymore because their quality is terrible. Han Joong Kwan is now rated #1 on my list.

Yummy, home-style Korean-Chinese food. Super cozy ambiance, with lovely and kind staff members. The jjampong was filled to the brim with seafood!

Jjajangmyun here is actually terrible. Jjamppong was at least decent as it still had the smoky flavor. Tangsuyuk sauce was the most watery sauce I’ve ever seen with this dish. I will gladly drive 1 hour to Virginia for better jjajangmyun than eat here.

Food had no flavor and the tap water taste like SOAP. Our server was rude, quick, and did not check on us. As a back couple we like to try to different foods but this one was not it. We did not tip as we did not like the food or service. The “waiter” chased behind us as we left to ask for a tip and stormed away when we declined. DO NOT dine here and waste your money.

My husband & I have been going to this place for years. Food is always fresh & made-to-order, something that is hard to come by these days. The staff never ceases to amaze us each time with their genuine friendliness & attentiveness. Their restroom is ALWAYS clean! I had my birthday gathering with our friends in their private area a couple of years ago. It almost felt like home. The owners are great people, too. While the next statement has nothing to do with their 5-star rating from my end, I have to say that I so love the dresses of the lady owner.

It’s quite a distance from where we live. But we don’t mind the ride knowing that we get what we always expect. They also renovate their restaurant from time to time. They use utensils & plates that aren’t worn out. This place is simple yet decent and we really like that. Food is reasonably priced. You could see that everyone in this establishment are really hard working individuals. We have so much respect for that. While it’s already obvious by now, can’t help but shout this out: “We love Han Joong Kwan!”

Parking: Never had a problem with the free parking space.

Kid-friendliness: It’s a family restaurant. The wholesome environment is suitable for kids.
