Service excellent, staff professional, though there could be more of them but of course I went on Easter Sunday, so it could just be that they were understaffed for that day. They even had a cleaning crew on standby to clean empty tables! Clean, nice countertops, bathrooms were about 85% clean(100% being brand spanking new), so pretty good overall.You can keep ordering beef/pork meat(and some other special stuff like quail eggs or tofu skin) or get vegetables/seafood from the bar. I'm amazed they can keep the amount of selection they offer on hand, maybe not for long(though one can only hope). Just some things they had at the bar were crawfish, mussels, squid rings, octopus, napa, carrots, marinated beef, tripe(both kinds!), and that's about a third of what they had. I'm sure someone else will take a picture.Single gripe was unintuitive heat controls and no explanation of such.

I enjoyed myself.. The food bar was tremendously clean & presentable.. The staff was polite and friendly... Now let's get to the food... I ordered th4 Spicy Mushroom Soup base, and all I tasted was the szechuan peppercorns... tons n tons of peppercorns! I requested additional mushroom broth..not to lighten the spice but in hopes of flavor.. The lamb and pork belly was delicious, as was all the additional toppings & add ons.. The veggies were vibrant & fresh.. seafood was clean and fresh... Next time I will get another broth as my base..

This place is a major favorite of mine and my husband's! The day has finally arrived that a hot pot restaurant in Baltimore will open its doors! We adored that location and used to go there frequently when we were visiting my brother.We've probably visited this location four times total. The happy hour is a big hit with us. We adore the toppings and sauce that are offered, and the broths are quite tasty! The food quality is quite consistent, and it's fantastic that the amounts are also rather generous.It's excellent that they have a lot of indoor seats available. Superb atmosphere and cleanliness. I wish I could return sooner!

This was the first time i ever tried this hotpot restaurant. But my sister in law frequently goes here. It seems that the owner even knows her and her mom.The food is so good. Meat is very impressive. They give you a lot of portions so make sure that you only order what you can finish.They have plenty of other food options. Lots of veggies and seafoods. They even have ramen like actual Buldak ramen and Jin ramen plus ice cream for dessert. Which was great since the spice got too much for me lol so ice cream really helped.Ambiance is nice, plenty of chairs. Huge space. I didn't feel too crowded or too close together like the other hotpot places i have been. There's a sense of privacy while eating. The server that helped us was very accommodating and helpful. Overall very nice experience!

Delicious! It's a bit far out of the way since it's near Baltimore but They have the most options of ingredients. It's super fresh and I like that you can grab your own vegetables and nick nacks. You go to an AYCE and they give you 10 pounds of broccoli you have to fish, this place you can just grab 2/3 and eat however more or little you like. Once you walk in the restaurant does have a strong Chinese hot pot smell, so just be aware. Service, you order meat thru a iPad. Meats, drinks, etc. Other than the items you order they leave you alone which I like.

They've done an update since my last stop by. It's got a darker, cleaner, more modern look. The conveyor has disappeared too. The service is quick and friendly. It has a clean, self serve bar with seafood and vegetable options. There are 9 options for a base, and extra noodle and meat options that come from the kitchen. It's all you can eat, and a lot of fun. And yes, they have small ice cream cups available for dessert.

This place is awesome! My daughter has fallen in love with hot pot places and I too have been hanging in there as the financier! But this place so by far our favorite!Located in a small strip mall in Ellicott City, Hot and Roll is a mid sized hot pot restaurant full of character and charm! We were greeted and seated immediately!! The staff was soo friendly and inviting! Like most hot pot places, there was an iPad on the table where you pick your items! You choose your broth first on their iPad; the only options are you proteins and starches. The veggies and other goodies are located at the open bar with plenty of dishes to pile them up on. They also have an amazing sauce bar, which we love. The food comes out very quickly and the staff are always greeting you with smiles. We sat near their area in the back section of the restaurant and they were very kind and friendly and checked in on us to ensure that we were ok and if we needed anything. Let me say this, this was the best food that we have experienced at a hot pot location. Very quickly my daughter and I were impressed. The broths that we chose were amazing and we were very pleased. The price point is typical for an all you can eat hot pot experience but the charm of this place takes the cake for me. Not only the charm of the location but the staff also. When we were finished eating, we were advised to get some ice cream for desert as part of the dinner experience. I really liked this place. I believe this will be our new go to spot for hot pot. I was happy and pleased with the food and service and so was my extremely picky 13-year old.

My friends and I really enjoyed our experience here. I had family recommend this spot and we were so glad we stopped by. They recently remodeled and added high ceilings and comfy seats inside. Some of the vegetables, noodles and other ingredients are by the cold bar station and not ordered via the Ipads. The food bar area and location overall is really clean. All of your standard sauces are there except the popular meat sauce. I enjoyed the house sauce it had a strong yuzu or lemon taste. It can be a bit sour for some.The cuts of meat came out perfectly. Thinly cut and takes very few minutes to cook. I really enjoyed my experience here. I noticed some premium items like salmon, lamb, blue crab and crawfish were included for lunch. The Tom Yum broth that we got was very rich. Service here was great as well. I think between most of the restaurant being full. We saw about 3 waiters running around taking care of all of the tables. Everything was so flavorful and fresh. Don't forget to check in via the Yelp app as well to get a discount off your entire check. I'd recommend asking a manager first to confirm the discount prior to applying it.
This place is very clean! Exceptional customer service and price was reasonable. They have complimentary ice cream. The meat was really good and sliced thin. I wish they had meat sauce though!

There were 8 different “pots” to choose from, the meats were sliced very thin, so they did cook quickly. A large variety of seafood was available. A nice assortment of vegetables and a very good assortment of spices. The staff was very friendly and courteous as well as attentive for beverage refills. In the desert category, as well as the usual, they have small ice cream sandwiches (100 calories), something I haven’t seen anywhere else. It’s all you can eat. Cost - just under $80 for 2

This was my first time going with my boyfriend and his parents to ‘Hot N Roll hot’ we have gone to a hot pot before but this was our first time coming to this place, his parents have never had hot pot before and this is me and boyfriend second time having hot pot, when we got there we were greeted warmly by the staff, the food was fresh and I really love that this place is an all you can eat! The only thing you have to pay for is your entry fee and you can just eat whatever you want, everything was on time and I love their hospitality. If you want a good customer service and all you can eat hot pot. THIS IS YOUR SPOT! 10/10 me and my boyfriend are planning to come back soon??
