i have been eating here since i was 4yrs old. i would go every friday after preschool with my mom for lunch. we'd also order a ridiculous amount of food from here every single christmas. sadly, i moved away back in 2013. since then i've tried chinese food at dozens of places and none have even come close to being as good at this one.
this weekend i came back to Columbia to visit and i ate here again. i can confidently say that after a full decade, the quality and atmosphere is the exact same: perfect!
our family favorites from here are the house fried rice (only rice i've never had to use soy sauce on), basil chicken, and their wonton egg drop soup. the food was just as delicious as i remember and is genuinely the BEST chinese food i have eaten in my 23yrs on this plant. i love you Hunan Legend. thank you for being a core part of my childhood. i hope you stay open forever <3

Best Chinese food in the area, I order the same things everywhere I go. They have the best hot crispy beef and walnut shrimp of any Chinese place around here. Their dumplings are always fresher than the other spots and the cold sesame noodles are so good.

Worst chicken wings I’ve had. They’ve got some weird breading on it that appears to be for chicken nuggets or something. The food is all bland with no flavor .. a big skip especially for the price
