I am visiting Ellicott city. I decided this restaurant Because of good reviews. I have the very nice and pleasant experience here. Terry is so kind, and the foods are excellent. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I had steamed monkfish.. There are no real good restaurants in ELLICOTT CITY, where I live now. There is no restaurant that is particularly good at steamed monkfish. However, I ate delicious monkfish for the first time in a while at Hyeban. I love braised monkfish, and for the first time in a long time, I ate it very deliciously. The portion is huge.. If two people come, you can really eat the monkfish to the fullest.. Above all, the service is really the best.. The servers are great. Very friendly.. The female server named EUNJEA was really friendly.. I went there for the first time and asked a lot of questions about the menu, but she responded very kindly and kindly.. I also like the spacious space.. The tables were close together. I like it because it doesn't exist.. The last thing I want to say is that the food at this place is not crazy delicious. It's more than average, so don't come with high expectations.

Great food, the stews are to die for, service is great, especial thank you to EunJae who asked us multiple times if we wanted more banchan and helped us prepared the bibim-naengmyeon perfectly with extra soup.

Came here mainly to try the beef tartare, and ordered the standard Korean BBQ. Interior design is nice, the booth setup gives you plenty of space and privacy. Service was really good, the BBQ is cooked for you, and dishes arrived quickly. The BBQ was typical Korean BBQ good - I can't say it's better than the half a dozen BBQ places in the area, but it wasn't bad. Biggest disappointment was the beef tartare: it was still near frozen and the texture was not great, it was also cut into very long strings like noodles and I did not love it the way I loved Korean beef tartare when I had them in LA's K-town.

Overall a good experience but I would not order the beef tartare again.

It's my first have a lunch in here. Their greeting and service are amazing from warm heart. And I also enjoy the tasteful food like a Ban-chan, agujjim, chicken pancake with sliced green onion. All food are very delicious. I strongly come back here again.

Hyeban came here because he really wanted to eat Korean food after visiting Washington DC. Tteokbokki, beef hangover soup, pork belly, daechang, and side dishes were all really delicious!!!! And the server in charge (a woman with yellow hair) grilled the pork belly and daechang so well that I ate it as if it was a delicious home-cooked meal. Thank you❤️❤️❤️

The marinated spare ribs will be reason for me to keep going back to Hyeban Korean BBQ. I would also say, the server, Cris, who provided such an exceptional service, was truly the icing to the cake for this particular visit. It is not too often that a server would proudly promote the other items in the menu. He also took the time to fully describe the items that were unfamiliar to us.

We had the Rib Eye, Beef Spare Ribs Soup ("Galbi Tang"), Marinated Pork Spare Ribs & Steamed Egg for late dinner. Everything was freshly prepared & cooked to perfection. Their meat has quality. The thickness of their steak also matter a lot. Their dining area is clean, too. This just made the overall experience truly delightful.

If I may add, if you had been there months ago, you would want to go back again. I notice, the flavor of the food gets better each time we go back. Don't get me wrong, Hyeban's food selection was already filling & delicious the last two times I had been there. I just want to note that this is one of the few restaurants in that stretch that innovates on their food offerings.

We will dine there again for sure.

I come here for their brisket and daechang. It's always on point and their service is phenomenal! Shout out to Ms. Eunjea, Ms.Terry and my boy Chris, they're all great servers! No shenanigans!

We enjoyed the service from Terry and Mikim. The first time we went Terry was very helpful and educating us on the quality of meats. Mikim was also accommodating. Their jalapeño pineapple sauce was so good. We bought bottles to take home with us. We highly recommend this kbbq. Every time we eat here we are never disappointed. We will be back.

This place is awesome! The meat quality look like the top in Ellicott city. Soft and juicy beef and marinated ribs are the best in the area. Side dishes (free) are really good as well. Restaurant interior is nice and clean. Just highly recommend this bbq place!
