We were searching for a late dinner place on a Friday night and saw this new Korean BBQ soft opening and decided to try it. We were so delighted with the food, the service and the kindness they showed us even though it was already late and almost closing time! Our waiter, Chris, was very kind and attentive to our table and continued to offer more Banchans whenever we would eat up any of those delicious side dishes. We ordered the combination which already included beef and pork cuts, so we got to taste both meats. One very unique and new for us in a Korean BBQ place is the green sauce. Whatever it is, it was delicious, a little spicy but very good. Chris also offered to bring us the traditional sesame oil sauce which is a must! He also offered more lettuce every time we would eat up the bunch. I really appreciate that they did not even rush us, even though it was very late. Definitely going to be one of my new favorite places for a family dinner! I do have one suggestion to the management: change the cut of the pork belly into thinner slices. Pork needs to be cook more well done than beef, especially pork belly. The thick slices take too long to cook on the inside. Anyways, we are definitely coming back here!

We finally made it here! We were greeted warmly which really set the tone for a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. I appreciated the layout of the tables as they are spaced far enough from other diners. The food was amazing and the service was perfect (the staff were welcoming, kind, attentive, and humorous). We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered combo A (loved all the cuts but the marinated short ribs and ribeye steak were delish), jeon gol (a tasty /savory large soup to share and cooked table side) and the pork bossam ( so tender and perfect wrapped in cabbage with spicy radish). They were all on point! I also highly recommend their fried dumplings- they make it in house and it's so good! The variety of side dishes like kimchi and pickled vegetables were also very good. Their kimchi is not fermented but tastes just made- which is one of my favorite ways to eat kimchi! The best part is that they don't use any msg and I knew it right away because I didn't have a bad aftertaste! The balance of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors created a dynamic and satisfying meal!! If you haven't tried it yet- go now!!

I thoroughly enjoyed dining at Hyeban; the Korean briskets and spicy noodles were delightful. The beef with the green sauce was exceptional, and the noodles were fantastic! My son loved it so much that he requested we go again in two days. Hyeban is definitely worth trying for a family dining experience! Thank you Terry for serving!

I came here I think on the first or second day of opening. Very excited to try the food. Service needs improvement. I came with a party of 4 and there as so much confusion on trying to seat us. While we were on the way being seated they were moving a party that was already seated. While we were waiting to be served the fire or gas or something went out so it took about 20 minutes for us to order. I had to remind the server a few times on some housekeeping items like spoons and cups. While checking out and ordering our sever switched that responsibility to someone else and speaking in Korean "here you do this I can't" which is not really great table side manners. It was a bit unorganized. Regarding the actual space it's very big. Lots of space. Here's a photo of what we ordered. I suggest more organization from management and put more time into training. I would come back to see if my review changes on a few months. Food wasn't bad. Review is low due to service experience :/

Ordered the Combo D ( marinated beef rib, marinated pork rib, brisket & pork belly set), served with a generous portion of bean paste stew and steamed egg and side dishes. All the food was seasoned perfectly to our taste, not too salty nor too bland. The marinated meats were perfection. The pork belly and brisket were so yummy dipped in their special “green” sauce. We also ordered the Galbi Dol Sot Bibim Bap and Mool & Bibim Neng myun. The mool neng myun broth tasted authentic and homemade as opposed to the premade broth.Wish the dol sot was cooked a bit longer to get the rice crunchy , but delicious overall.Lastly, my server Terry was awesome! Her sense of humor, recommendations, service exceeded our expectations! Will definitely be returning soon.

Very Good, (Doganitang) Ox knee Soup is real Milky Bony taste with full of ox.Tteokbokki is Chewy and Not too spicy rather a bit sweeter than I expected. Interior is so clean and simple. Good place to rewind vibe. I recommend Hyeban especially for Foreigners who are eager to seek real best Korean Food. Here is The Best Korean Place I ever went to in USA!

This place just opened this week.I was excited to enjoy Korean BBQ and other Korean meal.My family (2 adult and 1 kid) ordered 꽃등심(Prime Saeng Galbi), 주물럭(Jumuluck), 비빔냉면(spicy cold noodle), and 설렁탕(Sul Lung Tang). The meats were high quality (juicy, fresh, nice flavor, etc.).비빔냉면 was just perfect (not too sweet, not too salty, not too spicy with chewy noodle).설렁탕 was just authentic Korean soup with thick broth (lots nutrient from the bone marrow), lots sliced beef and glass noodle.Side dishes and service (된장찌개, 계란찜) were just like mom's food - healthy and yum.We ate all the served food. All the staffs were so kind and nice.We enjoyed a lot in here!

Newly opened kbbq spot! The interior is clean and large. Service is very polite and attentive. They just opened this week after a long time renovating the inside.I wanted to like it but there were a lot of misses in the food and with so many other options nearby, it was not an instant hit.We ordered fatty brisket, marinated galbi, seafood pancake, and spicy cold noodle. The meats were pretty good and our server cooked them well. I liked the brisket more, personally. The cold noodle was good but the pancake was not as crispy as we would’ve liked it. Their banchan was fresh and plenty of variety.Unfortunately, because they’re still in their opening phase, they didn’t have a bunch of things on their menu like the prime galbi or corn cheese. I also thought the steamed egg side dish was not good at all. It was very overcooked and dry.Overall, I thought the meal was okay. The good service was a plus but I might give them a few months to get their stock and iron out any recipe issues before giving it another try.

A new korean bbq place in EC. the restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. Spicy noodle 비빔냉면 and marinated beef (양념갈비) were hands down the best in town.

I liked the big open space & the partial wall that adds litttle privacy between the tables.I ordered the combo bbq that a server cooked just right in front of your eyes.I also like that the owner doesn't use msg preparing the dishes. Side banchans were freshly made & plentiful(server will bring more if you ask for them). The waitress was very polite & friendly. I can feel her service was genuine & wants to make your dining experience enjoyable. I also liked the dish called "yukhwoi" which is raw stip of beef smothered with special sauce. This became my instant favorite. There are so many different dishes I want to try out next time. Looking forward to come back here again.

Delicious food and amazing service. Food came quickly and the portions are very large and good for sharing with a friend or with a group.Staff is attentive and friendly, always checking in or grabbing refills if needed.Banchan was fresh and delicious. The fish cakes were fire.Japchae was comforting and nostalgic tasting. Definitely my favorite.Kimchi pancake was good, not super spicy so great for those who want to try for the first time.Seafod bimbap was my first time having a non beef bimbap and it was yummy. Came with a little soup to pour on top.

I & my wife visited this much anticipated newly opened Korean bbq restaurant with my son's family with 2 grand kids. I really liked the open spaces with partial wall that adds privacy between tables. I ordered combo bbq beef the server cooked them well done right in front of your eyes. I specially liked the dishe called "yukhwoi" which means fresh raw strip of beef smothered with special sauce. All the banchans were fresh & server will bring more if you ask for them. Some may think some of the banchans are blend but that is due to not using msg. Server was very polite & friendly.
