It was good! Good in a home cooked meal kind of way!To me, this isn’t worth 15$. The pork was flavorless and overcooked. But the rice and curry were a 6/10 and the pasta salad was probably my favorite part of the meal.

But the rice and curry were a 6/10 and the pasta salad was probably my favorite part of the meal. The women working were nice. The cafeteria serves as a place to eat but is quite desolate. You could take it home but it costs an extra $1 which I don't blame them for.

Tonkatsu, udon, gyudon, and chicken teriyaki are long time faves. Have been coming here since I was a child, over 15 years. Food is always excellent for great value.

Was craving Japanese curry and this hot the spotWe liked the combo plate, only complaint is have was that the soup base was a little light on flavor/ saltOther than that good food for being in a grocery store cafeteria

Ikkyu is inside Lotte's food court and is my favorite choice out of the 4 restaurants inside! Tonkatsu 10/10- crispy, lots of sauce- comes with rice, pasta salad with cucumbers, a side salad, pickled yellow radish, and a small bowl of miso soup - they used to also give kimchi but I guess they updated the menu Once you order, they'll call your order name/number on the intercom once it's finished. Service is relatively quick!
My husband and I lived in Japan for a long time and we used to eat a lot of Japanese curry and udon back then. Ikkyu has really authentic tasting udon and curry. Sooo good.

Hidden Gem. Very good hard to find Katsu don. Very nice customer service as well!!!!!
We have been eyeing this place for a long time since it is inside a Lotte supermarket. This is a food stall that is located inside the food court of Lotte. The meal we had were pretty enjoyable. Surprisingly, the complimentary crab salad is good and flavorful. The pork katsu we got were definitely on the saucier side and very flavorful. The beef bowl was yummy as well although it visually looked dry, it actually wasn't. The udon was okay, there wasn't anything mention worthy. It was typical udon with minimal toppings, but the broth was still flavorful. Since this is in a good court, it is self serve. They just give you your tray of food and you find seating within the food court. There are water dispenser by each food stall there in which you can get hot/cold water from. You just have to return the tray to the stalls that you ordered from though.

The food is always tasty but the prices have definitely risen over the years and prices as of December 2021 certainly reflect the owner's need to recoup from her pandemic losses.
Not what I was expecting...
