Ordered the Taiwanese chicken, the food is okay, but there wasn’t anybody working in the kitchen, and I waited for 25 minutes just for one single order chicken, and there wasn’t any customer besides me, really disappointed.

Updated review: I love this place but it’s so hit or miss and I can’t figure out why. Maybe due to whom is working that day? I come usually once a week for Taiwanese chicken as my weekend treat and learned if I ask for extra crispy it is even better. But about 1/3 times the chicken is just a soggy mess and gets worse towards the bottom of the container. Today the entire taste was….off.

Food is great! We’ve gotten the Taiwanese chicken and fried squid balls, both were yum. I really appreciate being able to choose high spice. We’ve tried a few drinks here, I like the lychee slushy and he likes the taro milk tea.

I came very close to closing last night but the staff were very friendly and enthusiastically stopped what they were doing to provide me with my 3 orders of popcorn chicken. The portions were very satisfactory and the food was delightful, hot, and authentic. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to grab a quick snack!

I really want to give this place five stars but the following are the reasons that I did not. 1. I wanted to get the trio but I wanted to substitute the squid balls for something else because I'm allergic to squid. So I asked the cashier can I substitute something else or maybe just add a double portion of the other two options? She told me no and I asked why? I told her that I was allergic to squid. She said that they are not allowed to substitute anything. I asked to speak to the manager to see if they would make an exception. She told me no, that the manager was busy and that they were told no way can anything be substituted. At that point I was about to walk out. However I really wanted to try their Asian chicken because I read the reviews and they said the Asian chicken was really good.

2. So I got the Asian chicken and the flavored boiled eggs and a drink. I told her I wanted the chicken to be mild very mild to be exact. When I got my food I couldn't wait to try it when I got into the car. The chicken was so spicy that it burnt my lips and my tongue. So I went back inside and the girl who originally took my order had left and it was another guy taking her place. So I told him the issue. He said okay I'll take it back and have them fix another one. Two minutes later he brings out the chicken. I asked how was it cooked that fast because the other one I had ordered took 10 minutes? He said it was cooked real fast. So I open the bag and noticed it was the same one I had returned. The guy said are you sure because they cooked another one? I said I'm definitely sure because I took a bite out of the one that I just brought back. And I said the bite chunk is still missing. So he hesitated and then he said okay I'll have them drop another one. This time they gave me the chicken without any spice on it and gave me the spice on the side . That was fine for me. I will be willing to try this place again but they really need to reconsider people have food allergies and sometimes need to substitute food items and also they should be mindful that if someone says they want mild food, they should not be given extra spicy instead.

The eggs were delicious and the chicken was delicious without the extra spicy.

Polite and super fast but the menu doesn’t indicate any pricing and it is quite expensive. Portion sizes on the small side. (Our portions looked nothing like the photos of the people giving five stars, cups were barely filled.) Carryout order.

Fried tofu had no sauce accompanying it - but the bottom of cup had a layer of oil and the bottom third of the tofu was gooey and stuck together. Weird texture. Dry. Definitely needed sauce.

String beans were just regular beans that were maybe fried in a pan? Also no sauce, just dry beans? They had some kind of spice shaken on them.

Husband had fried chicken nuggets/French fries. French fries are the shaped wiggly kind. They also had no sauces with them.

2 questionable appetizers and one mediocre meal cost $35.
