Visited Naz’s Halal Food in Ellicott City and had their vegetarian options. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The portion size was generous and the staff was friendly too. A good spot for halal and veg meals if you’re in the area

Dry chicken and lamb compared to 3-4 months ago. Very dry baklava as if they purchased from restaurant depot.

Not impressed by the customer service either.

Not a very welcoming vibe. The staff is basically a bunch of rude guys in their mid 20s talking and socializing. No care for customer service and no care for quality of food. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to try this place because of the big sign and area it was in. I will spend my money with an establishment that actually greets their customers and isn't servicing dry chicken and lamb

falafel is next level

I walk in and the young guys working look at me like I'm trying to rob the place and don't even greet me. First impressions are everything. I travelled 30 minutes to support because they are Muslim but this may be my last time

I have never received halal food without the sauces or pita bread on the side smh totally disappointed in this because the chicken was red, dry, no white or pepper sauce and no pita bread on the side. They forgot my ranch as well, but I had therapy and couldn’t go back. Also I live 20 minutes away and didnt want to return for correction because the lady wasn’t friendly

In response to the response, no baby once was enough especially when I spent almost $70. Never ever returning to eat that food again

This is one my favorite cheeseburger combos! Naz’s Halal Food has a great cheeseburger combos around—only $10.00 for all of this! Also made fresh!

I’ve been visiting this location for quite some time. In the beginning, the food was excellent, and the service was consistently great. It was a go-to spot with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly faces.

However, more recently, I’ve noticed a decline, particularly after some staffing changes. While I won’t single anyone out, the overall service quality has noticeably dropped. More concerning is the food, which no longer lives up to the standard it once had. The chicken has become chunky and fatty, and the rice is often dry. I've tried to overlook it on several occasions, but unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring issue. I’m quite disappointed and feel I’ll need to look for an alternative location or restaurant moving forward.

Also, a quick note on cleanliness: on multiple visits, I’ve found the bathroom lacking soap. For a food establishment, that’s particularly troubling and should be addressed promptly.

I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s always been our go-to spot for a quick meal. Over time, the quality has been slipping, but I usually let it slide since it wasn’t a big deal. Unfortunately, today was the worst experience yet.

First, I bought a couple cans of soda and never received them. Then I ordered double chicken but was given barely half of what a normal portion should be. To make things more confusing, the app pricing doesn’t even make sense—“add chicken” is $2, “double chicken” is $4, and “extra protein” is $3. What’s the actual difference?

The salad was oversized and poorly cut—big chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers instead of the usual smaller cuts. And the final straw was the chicken itself: almost all fat, chewy, and downright unpleasant to eat.

I left extremely disappointed.

Very disappointed with my recent experience at Naz Halal. They completely forgot part of our order and when we brought it up there was no apology or effort to make it right. No replacement, no compensation, nothing. Customer service should matter as much as the food but sadly it did not feel that way here.
