SAFEWAY is definitely a big 'one stop shop'. All what you need are available under one roof. Very clean, attractive store. Top quality goods, products are available at Safeway. Can spend hours. They have a top class bakery. A separate meat and seafood section is also available. Fresh produce/vegetables and fresh fruits are also available. They have a self checking out counter and if by chance you come across any technical issue the shop manager would immediately attend and help you. When I had an issue and called the manager, instantly he came and helped me (I have posted an image of him next to self check out counter, he was wearing a black longsleeved shirt and a cream colour trouser. I couldn't remember his name. Such a wondeful gentleman with a high customer service standard. He is an asset to SAFEWAY. Highly appreciate) Wonderful
staff and very helpful. I love SAFEWAY.

We bought a pomegranate juice that expired 4 months ago! So definitely double check the products before checking out. I got this the end of last month. This is a pricier location for seemingly less quality. Even the bagels begin going bad after 3 days.

I came in to grab reddiwhip and pie crust. I saw a cashier who wasn't busy and entered her lane with my items. After putting her phone down she proceeded to ring up my items without uttering a worrrrd. Not one friendly word. She never said "welcome to safeway", no "hi how are you?", no "did you find everything ok?", no "thank you", and she didn't even look at me when she put the receipt in my hand. This bothers me but usually not to the point of writing about it. But before I even walked away, she says "hi how are you?" to the women behind me. Are you kiddin me???

I took the high road and walked out calmly. I won't print what I REALLY wanted to say and do. Needless to say, she was rude, UNfriendly, UNprofessional, and as discourteous as a retail employee can be. HER NAME IS SUCHIR. And im going to seek her out next time I'm there and if she is rude to me again by not demonstrating positive customer service, im gonna call her out on it, loudly.

I'm 60 years old. I dont know what happened to cashiers with good customer service at this Safeway location. SUCHIR definitely needs to be retrained to understand how vital customer satisfaction is to retailers.

I had a disappointing experience at Safeway Pharmacy, largely due to the poor customer service provided by Stephanie, the pharmacy manager. Despite being a loyal customer, I encountered a lack of empathy and professionalism during my recent visit. Stephanie’s dismissive attitude only added to the frustration of an already challenging day.

For a better customer service experience, Safeway Pharmacy should prioritize empathy and understanding, especially for patients who may be having a rough day. A little compassion can go a long way in making customers feel valued and respected.

Due to this unsatisfactory encounter, I have decided to transfer my prescription to Amazon Pharmacy, where I hope to receive the level of service and care that was lacking at Safeway. Or at least I won’t have to deal with human who may be having a bad day. Disappointing experiences like this should serve as a wake-up call for Safeway Pharmacy to reevaluate its customer service standards.

I had an appointment for a Covid shot, and I had received a confirmation. Pharmacist snapped at me, “you have no appointment in the system”. And when I tried to show her the confirmation on my phone, again she snapped “ some times it doesn’t work, go fill out a form and bring it back to me when you’re done”
No eye contact, no please or thank you. in fact no courtesy at all. Why?

Honestly a ok store not bad but not good. Something that really annoyed me was there hair/makeup section because they made the prices go up like 10$ per product, an example was these lifter glosses which is normally 8$ but they marked it up to around 17-18$ that really sucked because there was a lot of products in the makeup section that was really good but very unaffordable because of the price mark ups :/

Pick up option not good. Why price was going up after some items out of stock? Safeway app need more improve. Doesn't make sense and manager not helpful. Really upset and dissatisfied.
