Back again for what is now an annual Christmas go to destination and it's almost like walking into a Hallmark Christmas movie with the fantastic Christmas decorations and atmosphere. The 4 of us went into the bar at 4 for their happy hour and 1/2 price pizzas. They were running $4 Miller Lite, Michelo Ultra and Yuengling bottles along with their regular Wednesday night 1/2 price pizzas. My wife and I loved the Hawaiian pizza which has become my go to, that was loaded with pineapple and having a great sauce and fantastic crust. The regular cheese pizza and bruschetta also go high marks. The bartender seemed to be handling the entire bar all by himself and doing a great job even as it filled to capacity. We won't wait until Christmas of 2026 to make a return trip.

Food was good, however a $5 side salad was equivalent to about 3 leaves torn up with very little dressing g on it. Sad. Maybe should have been included with the meal.

Tasty and quaint spot! I got the finito pizza and my date got the chicken Stella notte, and they were both enjoyable experiences! They had a fun display for the dessert menu, and I would recommend at least taking some dessert home if you’re too full TK enjoy it there!

Being a Catonsville native and a personally accredited snob, I have always held the firm belief that there are no good Italian places in the area. Growing up and being forced to go to places like Scittino's (EW DISGUSTING) and Chef Paolino (TERRIBLE!) would make even the fattest, least picky man never want to have italian food again.

We gave Stella Notte a shot tonight, and being a 3 millionth generation Italian American, I like to eat good Italian food. It makes me feel in touch with my dirt farmer ancestors who would probably cry at the site of my 300 pound physique. It also reminds me that I'm not just a basic white-bread white. I'm Italian for Saint Peter's sake. Twenty seven percent Sicilian to be exact (according to Ancestry) vaffangul who cares

Pardon me, I had a little too much to drink. Just let me rant.

The food is good. We got the Stella Notte pizza as well as penne with blackened chicken & alfredo. The pizza has a flop to it, but a good flop (unlike the Scittino's flop where all the cheese falls off the darn pizza and you're left with a Deepwater Horizon amount of oil and grease) When the floppage occurred, only a couple pieces of the chicken fell off. The flavor was excellent. The sauce was nice and I like their cheese blend. The thing that really sealed the deal on the pizza is that crunchy, garlicy, bubbly circumference. It-a make-a my Nonna cry tears of joy! The pasta was good as well. The sauce was lacking saltiness, but the aging clientele makes it obvious why that is. The blackened chicken on top was cooked good and wasn't lacking in flavor whatsoever.

Would I grace this establishment with my presence again? Yeah. Good job, Stella Notte

I LOVE it here🩷 My husband recently took me out on a suprise date night, and it was my first time dining there. I got a shrimp entrée, and it was delish! Out server was swift and polite, and the atmosphere was perfect (not too loud at all☺️), especially after a long work week. Can't wait to go back!

My family and I visited this establishment seeing that it had 4.3 stars and 556 ratings. I'm not sure how much they paid for this rating, but I wouldn't go here even if it's $5 a plate. We ordered a Caprese, steamed mussels, Linguine with Clam Sauce, Scallops Michelangelo, and a Shrimp and Scallops Scampi. The only thing that was edible was the Caprese which was pretty much put together from packaged goods without touching any time of heating. All of the noodles in our dishes seemed to have been cooked hours ago and were heated back up again. They were beyond overcooked and borderline about to fall apart. The sauce base seemed to be cooked then added 2 full cups of water right before coming out of the kitchen. All of the seafood were not fresh. And why are the Scallops in the Michelangelo breaded and fried? BREADED AND FRIED??? My middle-of-nowhere High school in the cornfields of Michigan had better cooked spaghetti than this place and it was like $3.29. NOT $30.
Service was O.K. but that was only because it seemed like our one waitress was staffing the entire section of the restaurant by herself and accounting for that, I'd give her 4/5. But then it seems like a lot of the other reviewers have cheese sprinkled on their dishes which we didn't get offered this at all.

TLDR: Save your money, if you want basic Italian food, got to a Olive Garden, at least it's edible there.

I would not recommend Stella Notte as a venue for hosting events. While the staff on the day of the event was courteous, working with the owner/manager, Dan, was an extremely frustrating experience for me, my family, and even our florist. Communication was consistently poor, and expectations were not only unclear but often changed at the last minute, creating unnecessary stress for everyone involved.

There were multiple issues throughout the planning process. Early on, I informed Dan that I would be bringing in a tall 3D backdrop using a truck. He assumed I meant a simple paper backdrop. In response, he reacted in a surprisingly rude and accusatory manner, saying he didn’t trust the other items I planned to bring and that he would need to personally inspect everything before it could be brought into his restaurant. That initial interaction set the tone for what became an increasingly difficult experience.

One of the major problems was a complete lack of organization - there was no formal agreement through email and due to all conversations being held through phone calls, it was challenging for Dan to agree on what was promised for the day of the event, especially around the menu. I submitted our selections at least a month in advance, but on the day of the event, Dan claimed to have no recollection of our conversation. Because of this, there were no hors d'oeuvres served—something that could have easily been avoided with even minimal attention to detail. Lesson learned: always keep everything in writing.

The event space itself was also uncomfortably warm, even with the AC running, which is worth considering if you're planning a gathering here.

Set-up logistics were equally disorganized. Initially, we were told we’d have only 30 minutes the day of to set up—clearly insufficient—and were quoted $300 for an additional hour. Eventually, Dan agreed to let us come the night before, which sounded helpful at first, but once again, communication fell apart. He said he would call to let us know when we could come in, to avoid disrupting guests who were dining—a reasonable approach. But by 7:00 PM, with the restaurant closing at 8:00 PM and still no call from him, my friends and florist decided to head over. When we arrived, there were still parties dining in the event space, and Dan told us we couldn’t begin setting up until they left. We weren’t allowed to start until nearly 8:00 PM, and then were told we had to be finished decorating by the time his staff was done cleaning—giving us barely any time at all. At around 8:40 PM, we were asked to wrap everything up.

To Dan’s credit, he was more accommodating on the actual day of the event. But the process leading up to it was disorganized, needlessly stressful, and lacked the professionalism you would expect when hosting an important occasion. Between the breakdowns in communication, the lack of clarity, and the poor attitude, I would not host another event at Stella Notte—and I wouldn’t recommend it to others either.
