The atmosphere is great. The dining room was spacious and tables were set far apart. There is a huge mural on the wall that describes the meaning of the name of Tea Horse, which I just loved. The food was delicious and the service was fabulous.
We had a great time in this authentic Chinese Restaurant . They served big portions enough for sharing with family and friends .
The ambiance is amazing. I recommend the restaurant for regular dining and special occasions.
Perfect, powerful, and proud Sichuan cuisine.
This is the best of the best Sichuan.
I’ve always wanted to try authentic Chinese food and this is the perfect place for it. Their menu is very incredible because it includes a large picture of each item so you know exactly what you’re getting. Definitely try the shrimp vermicelli ,The sesame noodle appetizer is really good and the squirrel fish we get every single time. we come here all the time and we love it. definitely try it!
Delicious, fresh food served hot. Friendly and prompt service. Comprehensive menu to explore Sichuan cuisine and entrees can be spiced to your taste.
Our family ate here for Mother's Day, and we all got food poisoning. We are talking like stomach flu levels. Not only that, but the waiter we got was a complete imbecile. He forgot our drinks, our menu items, he took out his chapstick in the middle of taking our order and began smearing his lips, and he spoke in this awkward mumble without looking us in the eye. We had to flag down a busser to make sure we got our order. I personally think he should be fired. Even if the restaurant looks nice, the environment is chaotic, with one host running around like a headless chicken on one of the supposedly busiest days of the year, while I saw one of the other bussers shatter a vase while cleaning a table. This place needs better food storage, quality control, and people management. If you want to go out to eat for a special holiday, you could be in for a rude gastrointestinal awakening the next morning.
Upscale Sichuan style Chinese food. American/Chinese style also, but menu has authentic style dishes.
This is our GO TO! Best sichuan in and around Baltimore.
Lost track of the number of times we've been here but they never disappoint. Service is usually fantastic, although I will say that at our most recent visit our waitress forgot to place one of our orders (which does not typically happen). I love their mapo tofu (if you like tofu and pork this is the OG sichuan dish to try). The salt and pepper shrimp is delicious. I tried the dan dan noodles once - good. The chili oil dumplings are great! I don't know if it's just me... but over time I do feel like there's a been a slight reduction in portion sizes (or my appetite has gotten bigger!).

Left my credit card for one day and saw that the waiter charged it 5 times on different transactions. I even went to grab it back and they did not say a word until I saw my statement.
Very unethical and will not support such establishment.

Horrible customer service. Every single time we are there, we have to wait so long for service & the waiters never check back for anything
Today was exceptionally horrible because we went for dinner & we order like 5 things…3 of the 5 things were horrible - lacked flavor, salt, no spices whatsoever even though we asked for spicy food. We didn’t say anything, we basically didn’t finish 3 entrees & when the waitress came, we let her know that the food wasn’t good today. Instead of apologizing or anything, she asked us how many boxes we need, we let her know we won’t be taking it home with us. We paid & left but they lost customers. We always go to the one in Towson & the food there is always good and since we live in Ellicott city, we started going here once they opened but this branch and the food here is never consistent, service is below par! So disappointed

I see so many amazing reviews of this place, but I ordered the chicken and broccoli and it was the most bland and plain chinese food I think I've ever had. Hardly any flavor at all, and you have to buy the white rice separate??? I was very unimpressed

Hidden gem in the Normandy neighborhood.
Absolutely stunning design of the interior using warm toned traditional Chinese style carved furniture, blue and brown stone, invigorating the senses with cool and warm tones. The staff was attentive and polite, and the food was the perfect balance of taste that wakens the senses, without overwhelming or overpowering the dish. I plan to go back and was thrilled by the experience of traditional Chinese cuisine.
We had the Schezuan chicken and beef with scallions

Is this a real review? This place is the worst Chinese restaurants in Ellicott City. The portion is exactly half of what I used to get at other place .There is no fork or spoon and no sauce is provided. Not even fortune cookies.
This is new place.
I'd rather go to Panda Express.
