This place was rather decent and prices not too high.

Parking: A few spots in front of The Trolley Stop. There is a public parking lot right next door along the old street car right of way.

Kid-friendliness: I didn't see any kids there today but they are definitely kids friendly.

Good food and very good service.
Let's be clear, this is not an elegant restaurant, nor is it a national chain. This is a neighborhood spot with history; it is comfortable, it is homey, it is an Ellicott City institution lovingly named, The Boody Bucket.

The food is good with good portions. The patrons are locals, the staff are locals, it is local place with history on it is walls.

Parking: Limited parking near entrance, but more parking within walking distance.

One of the best kept secrets in Ellicott City, just over the bridge (technically it's in Baltimore County). This delightful business is a crowd pleaser. A very authentic bar that almost feels like an English pub, with low ceilings and old features. The service is good, the locals are friendly and the food is delicious. Portion sizes are generous and the soups are hearty. There is a huge Free parking lot to the left, so great to grab a bite and then go shopping.

Good down home atmosphere and hearty food. Don’t expect much draft beer selection. Staff is great.

The service was great and the food was amazing!!! End of story… we had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the Cold Cut with the potato salad. It was extremely delicious I cleaned the plate. I asked the server what is your favorite hot sandwich and he responded with both of those so we had to try them and they were in the top three of sandwich’s I’ve had in my life.

The food and service were excellent. Their shrimp salad sandwich, which I had on lettuce instead of bread, is the best I've eaten in a long, long time. Parking in front is limited, but more parking is nearby. If you're visiting Ellicott City, an easy walk from Main St. I highly recommend the Trolly Stop.

This was a great place to stop and grab lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and made us feel at home. The food was tasty and prepared as requested. The atmosphere inside seems historic (or at least very old) without being the slightest bit fussy. The parking lot was a little busy, but there seems to be more parking in a larger lot nearby.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and all items come with a side dish (except the spaghetti).

Beef sandwich was awful. Beef was all dried out and the cheese was American cheese not cheddar. If I wasn't on a date I would have sent it back.
