McFaul's Oyster and Reel

Enjoying perfect Baltimore weather this one evening in June with outstanding service from Taylor! The crabcakes were fabulous and quite reasonable price-wise. I wasn’t a big fan of the french fries; they had some kind of sweet salt on them? The rockfish appetizer was delicious and the oysters were yummy.

Love this place! I've been coming here since it was Sue Island Grill, then McFauls, and now Sue Lagoon. Each change has improved on what was already a wonderful place.

Being a crab guy I hit the Jumbos and wasn't disappointed...they really were Jumbo...not mediums like so many other places. I had one friend who wasn't into seafood that the said the pizza was excellent. The crab stuffed pretzel filled my date to the bursting point as a standalone meal!

But the MAIN thing I come here for is the live music. Great bands each weekend. Dance on the deck or kick your shows off and dance in the sand. Excellent bands each and every weekend.

Oh yeah...and the sunsets there are spectacular!

Mother’s Day brunch was a bust!

First time back since the rebrand and will be the last time I ever come to this place. We booked a reservation for Mother’s Day as soon as we sit down waitress went down a list of things they were out of which was more then half the menu, so we’re ordered what was “available” husband ordered the filet me double crab cake platter, my son chicken tenders with honey mustard 15 minutes later we actually don’t have any more filets my husband ordered wings instead with ranch another 10 minutes we only have enough to make one crab cake not two brings out his wings we are out of ranch and honey mustard….. I’m not sure who does the food ordering but someone definitely dropped the ball to be out of all of that you were prepared in The first place ! The manager came out to talk did nothing about the issues the least they could’ve done before we drove 45 minutes to get there was call and let us know instead of telling us when we got there saying it’s not their fault.

New ownership has changed the game for sure! Great atmosphere & the new menus are awesome! Brussel sprouts are amazing & the salmon is so good, definitely order those! 😋 😋 pizza is delicious too!

Nice place by the water. Depending on where you sit is what your view of the water is. The service was excellent. I was not impressed with the food for the cost. I had cream of crab soup that the only crab in it seemed to be the small amount that was placed on top. I asked for fries with my shrimp salad wrap and was given potatoe chips. The shrimp salad wrap had a good amount of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and about 10 small to maybe a few medium sized shrimp in the dressing in it. Having eaten at other places in the area on the water, I was not impressed.

Came with my best friend! We were the only ones there early morning when they just opened up. It was nice and quiet. Server was so nice to talk to! Her name is Jennifer. Really friendly and easy to talk to. The food was excellent! I had to order Oysters my favorite. Ordered some delicious tacos! The place is right near the water which is the best kind of restaurant!

Great restaurant right on the water with both outdoor and indoor seating—great atmosphere either way. We started with oysters, today’s special Blackberry from Virginia, and they were very good. The soup, salad, and steak tacos were all delicious.

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful—so sweet, friendly, and very approachable, which made the experience even better.

10/10 recommend - will definitely be back!

We had a lovely time at McFau'ls Oyster and Reel! We saw Santa and the Grinch. We did crafts and had a brunch breakfast, complete with mimosa flights, and smores shots. While it was an excellent event, the service was strange and slow. Management could have been more hospitable. We loved the Santa and Grinch experience and will be back next year! Our kids loved it! Thank you!

This place is so much fun. Fantastic music. Great, friendly crowd. Wonderful service. The staff is attentive and welcoming. Just a fun place to hang out. And of course, the location on the water can't be beat.

Very nice place. Very clean. Food was pretty good. Pricey.
Not much meat for a burger, it could be thicker and more meat for the price and to fit the size of the bun. Service was very good! Blonde highlighted hair waitress with a good dark tan. Excellent job!! Keep up the good work!!
