First time ordering from this establishment and I was pleasantly satisfied. I ordered a half pan of Jerk Chicken. It was very tender and flavorful. The owner was very pleasant and professional. I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Horrible, mac n cheese taste like pasta water. No cheese. The most bland Mac n cheese you could ever eat. Oxtail had no sauce and were not tender. Cabbage tastes like they steed it in water with a little salt. Horrible!!!

A Rose Is Still A Rose

Listen to meh! First Jamaican restaurant where the service was quick and pleasant and de food delicious. I got the brown stewed chicken rice and peas and freshly fried plantains. The food was piping hot. Chicken falling off de bones. Plantains fried golden brown. Crispy on the edges chewy in de miggle. The flavors of the chicken and rice and peas were not masked with over powering peppers. Perfect blend of dry rubs and herbs. I'll definitely be back!

This was my third time patronizing this restaurant and last . The food was ok but Grace is rude. I will not be returning, one hair was on my food . Secondly Grace is rude !!! I asked for extra gravy it practically dry as you can see . In addition to her tossing my container after she fixed my food. I was not greeted by her but by the owner he came out from the back. However she spoke to the two Caribbean men who came in there after I ordered😑 maybe me being American made a difference idc. Every visit she seems to have an attitude. I believe in supporting small businesses but not when receive poor service. Especially with her wig hair on my $24 Oxtail….

I'm disappointed
Today I got brown stew but it was dry as hell and barely had any carrots in it then the mac and cheese was stale
When I'm in the mood for Caribbean this was my new go to but after this I'm good ?

If you want Jamaican cuisine where every dish is bursting with flavor, visit D&L Caribbean Cuisine!!!! Listen, D&L has me in a chokehold and I’ve only found the restaurant 2 weeks ago by accident; the owner is so down to earth and personable.
Now, let’s talk food…I’ve had the oxtail, curry shrimp, and escovitvh. However, my most favorite dish is the Rasta Pasta (the best I’ve had in the area) ?
I say all this to say, please if you’re in the area stop by D&L Caribbean Cuisine. Parking can be a little rough at times, but it’s worth it!

I ordered the brown stewed chicken with jollop rice coco bread and cabbage from the one at 25th Street SE next to Mario’s Pizza. It was delicious had the right amount of spice. There were some guys in there that was coming back for the oxtails saying how good they were. I will be trying them next time.
