If I could give this a rating below zero, I would. I hired Ms. Joanne in 2022 to cater my wedding reception, paying THOUSANDS of dollars for a carefully selected menu based on dishes I personally taste tested at her office in Ft. Washington, MD.
On the day of my wedding reception, I was STUNNED to discover that my guests and I were served bite-sized pieces of FROZEN pizza—completely different from what was agreed upon. Not a single one of the agreed-upon dishes from our signed contract was served. Oh, we were served salad.
As any bride can understand, the day was filled with photos, conversations, and ensuring my husband and I connected with everyone. Unfortunately, this meant I wasn’t able to address the issue in the moment. Still, three years later, this experience continues to HAUNT me.
I even considered legal action, as every guest in attendance vividly recalls what was served—and it was nothing close to the contracted menu. What should have been a joyous celebration was overshadowed by a complete breach of contract and food from the freezer!!

All the tables were so beautiful with the white and gold, linen table cloth napkins, plates and silverware. The au d’oeuvres were great. Joanne is an excellent caterer and makes sure you get what you want from your event. She was the caterer for my wedding at a winery and she made sure to stay on top of details and was flexible due to the rules of the venue of not being able to use their kitchen. The food was delicious and the quality was out of this world! All of our guests loved the food as well and heard nothing, but positive reviews especially the crab cakes!
