Loerdo's was a somewhat strange experience. The place felt more like a bar than a restaurant. When we walked in, there were no staff to greet us and zero customers. The lights were turned low and the music was loud. A host came out of the back and let us know we could sit anywhere. She turned the music down for us so we could hear each other. We ordered and the food was delivered to our table pretty quickly. My husband had the unremarkable carne asada. I had the chicken quesadilla....
I had lunch with my long time friend of 35 years. Upon entering I immediately noticed that we were the first the customers it was 12noon but soon after other patrons walked in.We sat inside, at the heart of restaurant, near the pair of billiards. (only 4quarters to operate and twist the bulbs to conveniently light up your game play area) The service was great, Jensey, our server/bartender/food runner got us our drinks I had a margarita on the rocks and she really knows how to...
Very good food! Been in maryland for up to 2yrs and coming from LA i have high standards on mexican food and so far hybla and oxon hill dont have this great easy to make meals so rlly recommend if your looking for something that’s authentic ? ???????? ???????
