The young lady that took our order was welcoming and friendly. We ordered the salmon BLT for $19. The sandwich was not on a brioche bun as advertised. There was shredded lettuce and slices of cherry tomatoes on the inside of the sandwich :(. It was served with tator tots. The salmon was flavorful. An option to have a kale salad instead of tator tots would be nice. We were charged a bag fee of 10 cents and ate in.

The food was great thanks to chef Ed and Aaron. I had the chicken and waffles the waffles was sweet potatoes the chicken was crispy and so good! I will definitely go back!

My husband and I live in Hawaii and flew to the dmv to see some family. Having breakfast here was everything. We loved the menu and the staff was genuinely nice and kind. The restaurant is very clean and cultured. We went back 2 days in a row as we was happy to be served and invest in a black owned business/restaurant. Thank you very much.
My wife and I were visiting our daughter in Fort Washington MD. We had dinner at Milk and Honey for the first time. The staff was friendly and it was obvious the chef used high quality ingredients. The food was delicious and totally worth every penny . We definitely will come back
Just had the sweet potato waffles and chicken and it was not good at all. Not sure what was wrong with the waffles but I couldnt eat more than 1 bite. Will not return.
After speaking with Patrick and him being kind enough to work on getting the problem fixed. I will return in the future and the waffles were great!!

9/2/24 - online dinner takeout order
First time here and did an online order. Pickup time was within 15min. When I got there ended up waiting another few minutes which I dont mind. I got the chef special shrimp and grits which was awesome, wife ordered the chicken sandwich but ended up with the salmon, the daughter got the serious and delicious french toast. The front desk gentleman did call to let us know we got the wrong sandwich but I was already gone - didnt matter because the salmon was great and tasty. We'll get the chicken next time. Food filled us up and we cant wait for the next time - which will be a dine in. It is fantastic that we finally have more quality restaurants in this neighborhood and didnt have to drive into DC!
