BEAUTIFUL restaurant! A true gem! 💎 DELICIOUS dishes from jerk chicken, lamb chops, salmon, codfish cakes, brussel sprouts, broccolini, seafood chicken pasta (menu has a wide variety) and an array of specialty cocktails. The staff and ambiance of the upper/ lower levels were very comfortable and artistic elegance! I can't wait to return.

I ordered through UberEats because I was feeling lazy. My order arrived about an hour later; I live about fifteen minutes away. I was highly disappointed in the portion size. The chicken curry was in a container that was roughly the same size as the coa coa bread. The bread was very VERY dry. I remember eating here a few h years ago. It was fair. I didn’t enjoy it at all this time. I definitely didn’t receive $45 worth of food and no this doesn’t include all the fees UberEats charge.

Food doesn’t taste the same like it used to. They also charged everyone that day for dinner platters during their “lunch special”

They have Roti!!! I wonder if they provide Goat and/or Lamb Roti!?

Workers are so nice. Def a hidden gem. I have been eating here for over 4 years and the best in MD.

I called in yesterday and ordered the curry goat for dinner w/cabbage and rice and peas. It was so tender and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Sooo good! The beef patty was on point too. I also came back and brought a few of their baked goods. Really delicious with friendly service with a smile to boot. I'll be back!

I enjoy the oxtails and veggies platter! I recommend going early in the week - I believe that’s when the food is more fresh.

My husband and I walked in to a greeting with a smile, the the aroma of Caribbean cuisine took over and we ordered to go the lunch special of boneless Curry chicken w/ rice & peas and cabbage, coca bread and beef patty...Sapodilla's did not disappoint...delicious is an understatement... tender chicken, cooked down rice & peas and favored cabbage, the coca bread was thick and soft and gooood, the beef patti was so that I sware they're made in house.
I haven't had Caribbean food this delicious in years...and I've eaten at several Caribbean or Jamaican in this area and was always something disappointing, Sapodillas will not disappoint and you will smile with every fork full

Good Caribbean Food ( Fluffy roti) The Bake and saltfish !!!~~~!!! Oh Skites Boie : hehe hehe nice , Penty of parking and they do catering also ( with advance notice ) cannot wait for the DC location to open up. Very buzzy in evening, may need to call ahead just in case whaterver your appitite is savioring for nah gane (sold out) , waiting area is a little small but you can sit in the dining area and wait ( or dine in )

I'm late writing my post because I'm just waking up from a food coma. I got the stew chicken and I will say whoever was in the kitchen on the pots and pans today is going to Heaven! That is all that is my post.

Food is overpriced, and not tasty. I appreciated them accommodating my late order. But I paid $11 for a chicken soup that did not have 1 piece of chicken in it. Flavor was bland all I tasted was tomatoes and onions. Definitely not my idea of a Caribbean. Being a Jamaican I am use to lots of spices and flavors. This was definitely not what I expected. And $5 for a spinach patty that had more dough that spinach. I could not eat that much flour.At least I gave it a try.

This was our second time here and we did take out. My wife and I ordered the oxtail stew and goat rotti. This was one of the best if not the best oxtail and goat roti I have ever had. And I’ve been to at least 5 other Caribbean restaurants around the DMV including Negril Jamaica. It was soooo good. ?
