Staff, up to and including the manager were rude. Bartenders are too busy socializing to make drinks in a timely manner and the manager has no customer service or social skills whatsoever. Unfortunate because the place is nice and has potential but the girl they have running it isn’t going to help keep it open.
Agave is always a great time! Bartenders Melaycia and Lacy are friendly, fast, and serve up amazing drinks. The food is consistently good, and they do a great job with specials always something tasty to try.
The whole staff is upbeat and welcoming, with servers who are always smiling. Management, led by Amber and Hannah, keeps everything running smoothly. Hannah’s attention to detail really shines. Love this place!

Agave 137 is honestly one of my favorite spots in Frederick. The jalapeño margarita is fire, probably the best I’ve had around. The vibe is always good and the staff makes it even better. Shoutout to Sydney, Melaycia & Hannah for always being super friendly and on point. Definitely a place I always recommend to friends.

Chelsey was great Sunday- she had the whole restaurant, bar& outside to serve and was the bartender. They have seating for about 10 people out front on the sidewalk. The grapefruit tequila crush was good, the salsa is terrible. No one at our table liked it.

Went with some coworkers and I got a Chorizo burger. It was so good and juicy, but not greasy, I loved it!

We had a horrible and terrible experience at this place. We were trying to have fun a Saturday night, me and my boyfriend, we just took one drink each one, then I ordered one more margarita and we were having a normal conversation between us, the music was way too loud (that’s not the real point, that was not the problem), so we were trying to listen our conversation and we were putting our ears close to our mouths, in order to hear what the other one was saying. 3 minutes after we were doing that, one of your employees just went to where we were sitting (at the bar) to tell us “you guys are sleeping you need to get out of here”, which my boyfriend told him that we were not sleeping we were just talking and the way we were laying down our faces it was because of the music (like I said before, music was not the problem, we were having fun tho). Then he said it again, he told us twice that we were sleeping and that we need to get out of there.
It was such an unjustified reason to kicked us out of there, we were also consuming and that’s the way you guys treat your customers? I would highly not recommend this place at all, such a terrible experience.

the drinks were great & the complimentary chips and salsa were good. the tacos were awful — they were terrible; the furthest from authentic as humanly possible. we are not picky people at all, give us a mcdonalds dollar menu burger and we’re happy - but we couldn’t finish our tacos here. ran up a 100 dollar tab with 2 drinks, 2 meals & a kids meal. won’t do that again!

Editing my review after a year...
I went there the other night, before I went I was telling a friend how much I love this place and they told me they had the worse meal every there.
Well they were not wrong.
Their menu changed. They used to serve you tacos in 2 corn tortillas, now it's flour. The bartender said I have to request corn. They should at least put it on the menu.
They got rid of some of the tacos and the quality seems to have gone down.

Unique taco options. Had Sweet Potato curry taco and brisket taco with special sauce. Both were very yummy! We also had their Fire and Ice special rice bowl with Tinga which was also good. Complimentary chips and salsa included. Attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere.

Market streets best hands down!
This place is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great vibes. The atmosphere is always welcoming, whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or staying for the night. The staff is hilarious, always cracking jokes, but they keep it professional and make sure you’re taken care of. Unlike most other bars downtown, you never have to wait long for your drinks—they’re fast and efficient without ever losing their charm.
Highly recommend

The carnitas taco was so so so good! I ordered 2 extra to take home for later! The street corn was a little underwhelming, but tasty. The bartender was friendly and efficient. I'd definitely eat here again and recommend to my friends

Didn't get food, only drinks. Stopped in for an hour to cool off and unwind after a long drive during the day. Drinks were great, and the bartender was a cool dude.

Drinks were great, but my goodness does the salsa need some work.
